Prejudices?

[size=14]I seem to have had a subconscious prejudice against main heroines (Particularly in anime and VNs but in anything really) And have only just realised. this spurred me to wonder: did anyone else have any subconscious (or just odd) Prejudices or boner-kills?[/h]

I hate when idiots or characters who are always angry (God of War 2 Kratos, for example) are the main characters. I'm also one of the few who are not fond of tsunderes.

I have a general dislike for Male characters who're thick as shit when it comes to women wanting their dicks. A guy IRL would notice. It pisses me off.

I hate all races, religions, creeds and sexuality equally.









I hate magical gurl and few animes more then the bain of society more.

Infinite stratos, rosario + vampire... probably tonnes more.

I hate dumb males not realizing the situation at hand and females acting innocent when they clearly know what the hell is going on.

Also I partially dislike characters who hide themselves under another personality.

I hate MC's who are given all the tools to be a womanizing badass, but instead act like a pussy for no reason. Also, overly perverted MCs.

Unless pulled off an a amusing manner (baka and test) I detest, with every molecule of my being, idiot main characters.

I hate stupid male leads, but I tell myself that, if the main wasn't so stupid, he would have picked a girl already, either that or perpetuated the harem by being a dick. The shows only continue as long as they do because the main never chooses. That and, it seems the main often times is a means to allow the fan base to project themselves(similar to that of vn's) onto the main and choosing would alienate the fans of different girls or the reverse they don't want to see someone else, the main, with their girl.

One of my biggest prejudice would be against idol anime/anything... The insistence that these girls who crave human attention and status are above human emotions and more godly than human... More innocent than a baby... The amount of projected delusions drives me crazy (idolmaster...). Though I guess I just prefer people who have flaws, I find them more interesting. An idol anime about realistic idols, people who can grow self centered and corrupt, or who can desire or to even fall in love, who can prioritize something other than there fans, the hardships of growing in a appearance based career, the heartlessness of coworkers, bosses, fans, and the corruption it causes on the main (especially children) would be what I'd like to see, it'd be so much more interesting to me.

I have more, can't think of them.

I don't like when a show is trying to make an MC cool so they remove all real emotions from him/her. Being badass does not remove your ability to have feelings. Also, generic shounen crap like, "I fight to protect my friends."

Harem characters. Most of them are just painfully generic to me

I don't like Kuudere's. I just don't like seeing expressionless faces.

I don't like tsunderes. Or most harem character tropes in general.

Pussy male protagonists.

It's not that I hate it but I'm starting to get irritated in stories where the guy is "perfect" (ie a bishie, smart, good at everything blah blah) and the girl is the not

and i also hate antagonists not getting the beating they deserve. I'n not only talking about them dying.
I'm especially irritated when they become "friends" in the ending...

I hate weaklings. I mean honestly, stop fucking crying and do something about the shit.

I have a profound hate for a few characters, Namely Shiro the first half of Fate/Stay Night, Yuki the first half of Mirai Nikki, Madoka THE ENTIRE FUCKING SERIES.

This applies to real life too. During college this guy was talking to me. He had his head drooping, was slouching, and spoke with the tiniest voice a man could produce.

I slapped him right in the fucking face and told him to man the fuck up and talk louder. I can't tolerate people who act too weak.

I hate characters who get into sexual situations but back away for no reason (mainly cause its no an h-manga). to-Love-ru is the worst offender, to chill my rage i have to read some to-love-ru doujins (of which there are a ton).

Hmmm, judging by everyone's responses, shouldn't this thread be called 'Character Archetypes that you dislike'?

While we're on the subject, I don't like helpless characters in NTR or overly emotionless characters. Emotionless =/= cool
