problems seeing ingame videos

I'm not sure if this belongs in here, but I'm in dire need of a tech support.

i recently started re-playing Princess Waltz and found a major problem: i do not see an of the ingame videos. I tried other games and encountered the same problem

When i tried to view the vidios in every of my media players (Zoom player, MPC and WMP) there were no results either.

file endings vary, WMp set a error, the two others didnt start the videos

Specs are: WinVista Acer Aspire 7535G, ATI mobility radeon HD 4570, latest drivers

Install CCCP and that should fix it.

i already had CCCP on my PC so i am a little puzzled though
