Sorry about this, but is there a way to put a gif file on to a ps3 and when you view it, it does its looped animation. The reason is I want to use this gif in a game called Hyperdimension Neptunia. I wanted to try something else cause having all my summons a picture of Nu and Ragna was kinda getting...um old. Well thats sums it up. I appreciate any help, thank you. BTW its good to be back at FAKKU!

According to the manual, the PS3 supports GIF images. Whether this includes animated gifs is still a question, or even if they work in a game. I bet in the time it took you write this post and get these replies, you could have just tried to see if they work yourself.
