Pubic Hair
Do you like?
1
Problem I had with shaving my pubic area as a guy was the itchiness and irritation that came afterwards. Omg it was like hell raging in my pants.
Now I've learned to do it right:
1) During a Hot Shower, apply specially made shaving cream for soft hair by dove or other brands. Any general shaving cream can be used in place of this, but preferably, find something made for body.
2) Shave off the big layer of hair first with an electric BODY SHAVER, not a face trimmer
3) Then slowly, SLOWLY take your time shaving the rest. Cutting your self is not an option.
4) Once done, apply Talcum Powder from any brand to sooth and lessen the irritation. Apply as needed
(This stuff is AMAZING)
5) Continue to trim every week in order to stop irritation from coming back. And keep using that powder!! BUT NOT BEFORE YOU HAVE SEX.
Benefits of being shaven, for both men and woman=
Better feeling in sex for most
Less chances of harboring infections
Not as smelly
And for men, instantly makes your penis look bigger with the bush out of the way.
Cons=
Can be itchy a lot until you get used to it (At some points, unbearable)
Resources I got this from= hours of searching E-how, Wiki answers, Yahoo answer, Google
*EDIT: If I may add, here is an interesting method that I've seen become popular in "male" salons. This is an excerpt from an article on "Askmen.com"
depilatories
Many well-known brands now have a men’s depilatory entry on the hair-remover market, and many guys are taking stock in this technique for removing pubic hair. These creams, which dissolve hair so that it can be wiped away, are a mid-market option: They cost a bit more than trimmers or razors, but lessen the amount of time involved in upkeep. While they might be better for those areas around your goods, if you choose this option, be wise and test the product on the inside of your elbow first, then wait 48 hours to be sure your skin has no adverse reactions.
Pros
It's pain-free (ideally), easy to use and affordable.
It lasts longer than shaving and isn't as cumbersome or painful as waxing.
Hair grows back softer and less coarse than it does with shaving.
Cons
It's harsh and abrasive to the skin, so you have to time them perfectly.
There's a possibility you may have an allergic, itchy reaction to the cream.
Unpleasant smells can be a residual side-effect.

Personally, no hair. On myself and the guy. Bare minimum keep it trimmed. However, if a guy/girl really wanted me to have hair down there I might try a pattern kinda thing.
[On others] My thing is that when I go down on a guy or girl, I don't want pubic hair in my mouth. Plus it feels weird to run your tongue on hair (tried to deal with it with one guy, it was horrible. And he wasn't THAT hairy either).
[On myself] First time I tried it, it was wonderful. It is more sensitive that way, I feel that I get more wet, it's soft and smooth, it's over all wonderful. Plus it seems that most guys like it that way so win-win.

I actually don't mind, I feel its your partners choice to go bare "Down there" or not. I mean think about, Common sense tells you to trim it, so I don't really worry if someone has hair there or if they're bare. I actually find that if the partner is given the option instead of forced they actually trust you more with sexual acts, but then again that's just me.
So really I don't care in general I'd rather a partner then a plain old hand.

I strongly prefer hair -- but not too much. Keep it trimmed!
I really really hate shaving myself. Maybe I'm using the wrong razor, but whenever I do it I get hideous red bumps for a long time afterwards. The red bumps look even worse than the hair, and they're unbearably itchy. I just like to trim mine.

For myself, I prefer to keep things either completely bare or closely trimmed. For my boyfriend, I've come to kind of like the sight of a manly bushel of hair. I personally think the male anatomy looks... just bizarre when hairless.

Myself: Closely trimmed.
I really do not shave because it grows back painfully and itches like______.

I get it waxed, myself. I don't like the feeling of hair there, and I'm also too lazy to shave. Plus I believe you're more prone to getting ingrown hairs by shaving. My husband shaves his because he says it gets uncomfortable for him.

One of my responses in it: https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=73074&start=30
As for girls, I do like some amount of hair. On guys, I feel that pubic hair can only detract from the main focus, the penis. But a shaved female crotch just looks too bare. Something like a landing strip does wonders, imo.
At the moment, I'm actually experimenting with keeping a landing strip of my own. In all that porn, normal and hentai, I've never seen a guy with a landing strip, so I wanted to see if I liked one on males as much as I did on females.
The preliminary results are no, it just looks stupid. And if it doesn't change in appearance drastically within a couple of weeks, it's likely to get shaved off as well.

You know people keep saying they shave and it gets itch, You know you can put hair removal creams, That way you don't have to deal with it as much. I don't get it, everyone seem to be thinking about the crotch what about the back (for men), The armpits, The stomach (Again for men)The ass crack and facial hair? Are you all saying you like a man with no hair on his body or just tiny hairs? xD same with women. So I really need to find out what you people mean. I mean I keep my stomach hair and facial hair. Anyway I have posted in this thread before what I like.

I've never shaved 'down there', but if that hair grows like my beard, i'd have to shave many times a day or it would be like sand paper and very irritating to such a delicate area. plus, i'm kind of hairy all over, and it would look quite odd to have a bald spor between my hairy belly abd legs.

Personally I prefer a guy to have a natural mini forest, nothing too big or too small, BUT NOT BALD "down there". The reason I shave is because when its hairy its itchy and to me it smells worse, and its sorta embarrassing. I don't like it, therefore I don't keep it. As for a girl (If I were to go there, trimmed or none at all would be preferred but I'm not gonna change the way someone looks.. Whatevers comfortable for them is what I'm happy with. I'm comfortable being me :)

I don't shave my stomach and legs, which are the only other two parts which are particularly hairy. Strangely enough, despite my general aversion to body hair, I'm quite fond of happy trails.

I am pretty much the same. I tend to love my trails, I am not a very hairy person anyway but I shave because I have such a strong oder. I actually have a phobia against strong smells or oders, I know it sounds weird but it actually helps out alot. I mean if you smell nice people love to hang out with you. Btw, Do you shave your arms or leave them? I leave mine cause they aren't that bad.

I don't shave my arms, and they aren't all that hairy anyway. If a girl had my amount of arm hair, it certainly wouldn't bother me.
One of my prerequisites for shaving is that the area has to be "contained", meaning it must have easily defined limits, like the face, armpits and crotch. Unlike stomach, arms and legs, which are massive regions with much lower hair density.

too be honest girls with hairy arms never bothered me XD, it was more the armpits legs and face xD as long as they were clear i really didnt give a damn about it xD
