Purity Ring

Purity Ring is a duo group composed of Megan James and Corin Roddick (whom were originally a part of the band, "Gobble Gobble"). They formed Purity Ring back in 2010 and had recently been signed by a canadian label. They also plan on releasing their debut album, "Shrines" on July 24.
I personally can't (nor won't) make an attempt to try and classify their sound to you all, I would rather leave that to your opinion.
They also plan on doing a tour to promote their album as well, and luckily one of the dates happens to be in my city (which I will definitely be going to)
I'll post what few singles they have from their album. I would love to hear what you guys think about them.

You know, a friend of mine said I should listen to them, but after listening to a few songs, I can say why I won't be listening to them any time soon: The Beats.
It's not that they're not complex or good enough, it's just the electronic sound they're making is a sound I personally do not enjoy listening to.

I'm suspicious of a band that names itself after a ploy to try and keep people from losing thier virginity.

Love them, I love how they came to be too, they said they loved the beats involved in traditional hip hop and they shared this mutual interest and made awesome music. Literally I'm playing Fineshrine, and didn't want to interrupt it so I opened another tab to reply. I missed my chance in January to see them live and I'm debating going to Austin City Limits.

I'd definitely recommend seeing them live.
If its anything from how it was when I went, then you're in for a treat.
