Sexuality is human nature. I went without fapping for about 3 weeks tops when I was a Christian (don't start a religious flame war, this is just for reference). Then I was back at it. It took me months to realize that the cause of my horniness is me being a lonely young healthy man.
Which brings up another point, because I am lonely and my life is somewhat in the gutter I do not rely on drugs/alcohol, slitting of the wrists, and/or any violent destructive behavior, instead I rely on gratuitous amounts of hentai, anime, guitar playing, and video games.
However if you think you should stop because it is becoming detrimental, seek a therapist. I think chemical castration exists as well, but that may only exist for psychotic sexual predators.

funny you should ask...Every time I "do my job" I say "That's enough...this is the last time I'm doing this"..I've been saying that for 5 or 6 years now XD...no effect

I think its the same as any other hobby or interest, if your trying to force yourself to quit of course its going to be hard, for example, smoking is a bad habbit, some people like it but want to quit, they will have an easier time quitting than someone who doesnt like smoking any more.
Anyway I wouldnt quit watching porn, there will always be something that takes your fancy and makes you hard/wet and when you start playing you'll love it so as long as it stays that way I dont see why anyone would wana give it up.

Ex convinced me to stop watching porn and so I did for about 2 weeks, then relapsed. Nowadays I only watch it once or twice a week.

As it stand now, I don't see myself quitting anytime soon. Now saying I had a gf, that would be a different story. I would still watch it maybe the first couple of weeks we were going out. When our relationship is to they point where we start getting sexually active, that's when I start saving up. Before you know it, she's getting more than just a second helping of rice, if you know what I mean.

stop the addiction? HAH!! blasphemy with the kind of stress in this house i can't see myself kicking the bucket on porn. But i have tried once longest i went was 1/2 week(s) in a way it was good because i was fully loaded the next time i fapped and boy it felt like the first time almost.
