Hello Ive looked through this forum and I dont see anything that could help so far, but I was Wondering. Is there some way(or program) that can use your regular HD space as extra RAM for your computer? My Laptop is older and only has a 367Mb RAM in it. Granted Most people now have better computers with higher RAM so I'm not sure this is a big problem for some. But I decided to try and ask because I dont have the Money for a New computer.
I'm running Windows XP home edition and I currently Have a 75Gig HD inside of it, and I don't use all the space so I wondered if i could make use of it to improve my computer any?
Thanks again ^_^

It possible but WHY???
Windows all ready uses part of your hard drive as "virtual memory". This means that when the memory of your RAM chips is exceeded by the tasks your computer is doing, it uses the hard drive space as memory.
This is very slow as it requires the hard drive to spin around to access the bytes for memory use.
A better idea is to get more RAM.
if you want it look in the spoiler... adept to you uses on your computer.

Thanks my laptop has once has a RAM increase and apearantly they dont have any bigger rams that can fit in this model computer and since its old all i was told was that my best bet was to get a better computer lol but i dont have that kind of money. I did what you said and changed what my computer uses from 400-800mb to 2000-2500mb so hopefully this may help me at least a little bit. I also changed it to best performance so hopefully that helps also.
Thanks again ^_^
