I'm a fan of deadmau5, but the Rob Swire version isn't as a good as the non-vocal original mix. Rob Swire is a shitty singer, even in Pendulum. But none-the-less, 9/10 for what it is. Good taste.
I got this from the beatport top 10, thought it was pretty cool. Don't just partially listen to it either, the whole 9 minutes will only do it justice. Don't skip parts either, but knowing how this works, you probably will.

First two and a half minutes is a loop. next two minutes is random noises, devoid of any form or flow, on top of loop. next two minutes acctualy aproaches music. after which it makes a hard turn back to the random noises for 11/2 mins. finally trailing off with a loop again.(all times aproximate)
for the small portion that resmbles a song- 3/10. the over all score is brought down because it runs on far too long and for the most part lacks any real semblance of music- 1/10.
Pink Floyd - One of My Turns
Pink Floyd - Don't Leave Me Now
to me, these sound like they go together. though for the full effect, this whole album should be listened to in sequence. alternatively, watch the movie.

Way to be an ass and think your definition of music is the only definition of music, and then posting Pink Floyd as to be a further douche to somehow prove your superiority because you like older music, which of course is the only type of music.
But don't worry, you made yourself look awesome in the process.
The first part of the first song just had random noises, with a girl saying things. How is that music? Random chords with talking, so awesome! Then he proceeds to sing to some noise going on in the background. Sounds like a guitar or something, and some drums. I don't think that's music.
Again, the second song starts off with random piano, and noises, followed by someone saying random things. The background is looping too, and it goes on making no progression. A minute into the song, it changes to a drum beat with the same crap, yelling and such. Then it just goes back to a loop, which is like a 1/10.
I don't think Pink Floyd is music, so 1/10.
Posting more not music.

UNKLE - Rabbit in Your Headlight
you shot first dude. i listened to it twice, and found no justice. i gave the most thurough critique i could.
i do cling to antiquated notions of melody and rythem. sequencial, repetitive sounds do not a song make.
perhaps you would care to take a look back at some of the other songs i have posted in this thread. my tastes vary and span many decades and genre.
i picked pink floyd because i had just watched the movie and the songs were fresh in my mind. way to over think it dude. persecution complex much? your over the top respones would seem to suggest that i in fact nailed my review, and you know it. since you cannot disprove my statemnets, you make it out to be a personal attack, and respond in kind.
if you are not prepared to recieve a less than favorable rating for your choice, might i suggest you refrain from posting in such threads?
neither am i, but i do enjoy debate, so either way...
