Real Madrid - Revival Project "LOS GALACTICOS"
0
As known in the entire world of Soccer, Madrid's insane transfers this months has shocked many people.. Some comes with great expectations, others with criticism..
As known from our latest news, 3 Days after the history's #2 most expesinve transfer of Kaka from Milan worth 67.5 million euro, MU has finally confirmed that they are releasing Cristiano Ronaldo to Madrid for 95 million euro which is the highest transfer in history exceeding the previous world's record of 75Million euro of Zinedine Zidane.. That's not all, Madrid also plan to get Valencia's David Villa worth no less than 38 million euro as well as other transfer candidates to be announced..
Thoughts?

i was kind of surprised when i heard of this before, but they really are trying to live to the los galacticos name right? but then again, they releases some good young players, so it's kind of dissapointing for me, but seriously, i don't think the revival galacticos will work nicely

Ever heard something like this?.. "There's no need for 2 Fantasista in a team.. Their creativity is something that every team needs, but with too much of it the balance of a team will be destroyed.."
with this, Madrid will have at the very least 2 (Kaka and CR7) of world's best fantasista in it..
Though it's risky, it could be a force feared by any team.. The rest will be up to the manager on how to handle his full of aces cards..

the manager might choose not to put them both in the same field, they might be rotated, or kaka as cr's backup... but i don't think one would want to be the backup for the other..

Since it's Kaka, i think it's possible.. it's not like i'm saying that he's lacking the pride of an Ace.. but i don't think he's the type that always liked to show off and become the center of the team like CR

yeah, i agree with you, and i actually thinks kaka would fit better in madrid than CR will... but it's just a hunch

I was surprised and saddened. At least Manchester still has Rooney... 8)
They tried getting CR last year and Ferguson didn't allow it, but I guess his opinion changed.

he said "would not sell that mob a virus" last december, but maybe that wasn't finished, there should be "except for about £80m, i'll sell anything"

Los Galacticos... F*ck me! Real Madrids gonna have to learn the hard lesson all over again. (Its like groundhogs day or something)
If I was Man Utd or any other sensible football club in the world id so be trying to get Sneijder, Van Der Vaart and Robben right about now on the CHEAP.
The Galacticos project has already FAILED, Mark my words. (Just get ready for the train wreck)

I don't need any mad comment from those MU fans who was crying behind because his beloved CR got taken.. This isn't the first time Madrid made a world's record transfer..
It's obviously too soon to judge it failed or not before we see them in action.. I agree Van Der Vaart isn't gonna have any chance againts Kaka, but it's not like that his performance last season is satisfying either.. Robben can be used as Double Sharp Wings along with CR or A Trident Striker Robben-Villa-CR with Kaka right behind them.. No matter how inefficient it is, Madrid's transfer this year gonna makes things interesting.. If it succeeds, we're gonna see an awesome competition between Madrid and Barca next season.. Since Barca itself is already the strongest club in the world atm..

Real Madrid has been involved in all the big transfers in all the history, for me is not a big surprise to see them spending that amount of money but... you know, this world is in crisis.
At least we will enjoy watching "Real Madrid vs Barcelona"... CR7, Kaká, Casillas, Messi, Eto'o, Henry, Xavi...etc etc. great, isn't it?

True.. La Liga got potential to be world's best competition now..
And This rather old news but, Raul Albiol has already joined The All-Star Team, and Ricardo Carvalho is about to join em too.. And Ribery.. But I seriously didn't think Ribery is a good addition to the team..

May aswell ask it... Why dont you think Ribery would be a good addition to Real? Is it because theyve got such a talent packed midfield already or do you just not think hes that good of a player?
I think he'd be a QUALITY signing! :D
By the way is it true that Sneijder might be going to Bayern???

Ribery is going to join Real in 2010 when he still has a 1 year contract which will make him a lot cheaper. Or in 2011 then he'll be free so Bayern will definately sell Ribery next season.
And I think it's a mistake to sell Huntelaar after a half year. He scored 8 goals out of 12 starters or something like that. That's pretty good for the first half year.
And Sneijder won't leave Madrid. Pellegrini said he will be usefull in his squad unless other clubs will offer big money. Personally I think it must be 27million plus because Real payed 27million for him 2 summers ago.

Barcelona is better than Real Madrid like a team (and equals on individual quality)
Im spanish and my favourite team since im a child is Atletico (5-2... paaain) Forlan is one of the best strikers for sure

Even with their huge spending spree, the Galacticos got knocked out of the Champions League by Lyon. Although I did not manage to watch the match, reports say that some of the players were too selfish. Perhaps they are still lacking in teamwork?

Theyre like the fucking Yankees of soccer! I dont really know much about soccer, but usually in the world of sports, higher salary = better player. And going by that, they should have one helluva team!
