[Locked] removing subs

I am trying to make a Code Geass AMV (how original, I know...)

and I have an episode which when i put it in my CyberLink PowerDirector (or Movie Maker) it has subs, but using VLC I can choose to remove the subtitle in menu thing.

How can I do this in a video editing program, perferablly PowerDirector 8?

Are you using mkv source files?

Just use mkvtoolnix, to remove the subs from the file and voilà.
