Reprodution of Figures

When do figures go through reproduction?

I'm sure it's happened to you before. You see a figure and guess what? It's sold out! You look around other stores. Day in and day out, after searching for countless hours, you have to face the horrible fact that you can't get it. Then you go and weep about it, and pray to the Japanese Gods that they will make more.

What are some figures that you wish they would remake so you could get?

There's some Tohsaka/Rider/Saber figures I'd like.

I'm wondering how they gauge the popularity of a figure. Seriously, how is this figure not popular enough for a re-release.

Right now, I've seen Black Rock Shooter (Original Pose by GSC) and Noumi Kudravka (Alter).

Maybe the company wanna see how is the price when the figure discontinued. Lots of famous figure get double price (even more) from original price at such as ebay when it's discontinued. And black rock shooter w/ rock cannon ver.(illustrated by Huke) was around $300 before re-issue news.

At least one of my wish is granted, black rock shooter w/ rock cannon ver. is re-issue on december. (and i ordered yesterday)

Just keep hoping that they will re-issue.

I get this all the time. It has a lot to do with only watching anime within the last year or so: I watch a series like Gurren Lagann or Code Geass that's a few years old, I want to immortalise that viewing experience with a Yoko or Kallen, and the most gorgeous of them are always out of stock, taunting me.

The fact that very few sites have an option to email you when they're in stock, and that I don't often have the money to buy figures, only riles me further.

Bio-booster armor Guyver figures by Max Factory. The only way to get any of them is by ebay and most of them are in the $200-$95 price range. I wish max factory would reproduce this line again since Guyver was the reason why I got into anime in the first place.
