I personally hate Slipknot because of bad experiences I had with a person who was an obsessive Slipknot fan above anything else, I can't listn to them without thinking of her, I also really hate music groups (other than Kiss) who do the clown thing.
I'm sorry, this man had a life, touched many people/aspiring bassists, but I don't see anything yet to memorialize, especially when we don't know what he died of (could have been drug overdose).
Your personal bad experiences does not mean there is nothing to memorialize. It means that if someone unknown dies on the street in front of you, just because you don't like, or don't know, you are not going to feel sorry?
And of course, if he died of drug overdose, he deserved it...
Well I love Slipknot, though I'm not an obsessive fan, and frankly I feel sorry for the guy, and for his family, and for the band, AND FOR THE FANS. Just as much as I would feel sorry if my neighbor I never spoke to, died.
But that's my personal opinion...

Really, this sucks. Another metal musician dead? That's 3 in less than 2 months! Paul was an amazing bassist. And what's even sadder is that his wife was expecting a child. Rest in peace, Paul.

Wow...I used to listen to Slipknot when I was young and was a huge fan, and still listen to them from time to time, sad thing musicians and passing left and right, just the other day I found out Ronnie James Dio had also passed away too..
