Restory Computer to Factory Default Help?
0
Okay, so my best friend gave me her computer a couple months ago, and I finally got a charger for it.
However, she forgot to give me the password (and doesn't remember the password either) and I have no way no access the computer without the password.
I was wondering, how can I restore Factory Default without the password?
Any help would be appreciated.

Easiest way would be to get a os disk (or make one if you can) and run the install again. Even safe mode failed you?
Also there are ways to getting around the password, some easier than others depending on OS.

Alright, I'll try that, anything I would need to know about the computer model before running it?
I'm not sure about safe mode, I ran it once and it still wouldn't let me get past the welcome screen.

The model doesn't matter, just re-install the OS that is currently installed.
