Also after watching these previews I realized the amount of action and win in this factor and have decided to come up with a suitable equation towards this movie.(Rurouni Kenshin)+(Good/Hot Kenshin)+(Cute Kaoru & Megumi)+(Blood)+(Sword Action) X (Japan Made)= WIN! x 1,000,000
^Couldn't agree more.
*inhale* WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD OF THE MOVIE!?! *exhale*
It's gonna' be awesome~

Usually, the thought of live action anime films fills me with dread (thank you DB Evolution). But this... I can't see how this could be anything other than a kick-ass samurai movie with characters that I already know and love.

After seeing how Japan made the Death Note movies before than the movie (Death Note I & II that is), I have full faith in them making a good live action Rurouni Kenshin movie.
Just never let Hollywood make a manga inspired movie again and let Japanese made franchises STAY in Japan and stay SET in Japan like it should be. After seeing 10 minutes of Dragonball Evolution, I'm dreading Warner Bros's live action Bleach movie (if it ever gets filmed that is). /end mini rant.

IS THIS FOR REAL!?
My favorite anime of all time.. turned into a live action film.
Oh god, I hope it's not like Dragonball: Evolution.

From all the sites I frequent the Rurouni Kenshin live action movie has been getting excellent reviews. The DVD was released this week, now I'm just waiting for it to get fansubbed.

After hearing about the high praises about the film adaptation, I seriously hope this gets subbed very soon, my homeland are probably filled with the biggest Rurouni Kenshin fans I know, myself included. Goes to show how more serious and dedicated the Japanese are compared to everyone else when it comes to delivering anime to real live adaptations and it paid off.

You know, after reading "my homeland are probably filled with the biggest Rurouni Kenshin fans I know"... I was gonna ask if you are Trinidadian by chance. Then I looked at your user name. :)
Good to see a fellow Trini. :)
(And he ain't lying. Rurouni Kenshin resulted in a major anime boom in our country. It's dear to a large number of persons' hearts, anime fans or not).
