Safely Remove Ubuntu & GRUB and Restore Win 8 bootloader?
0
So I'm wanting to delete an Ubuntu partition that I have on my laptop to recover the hard drive space. However the last time I tried to do so, I had to reinstall Ubuntu to regain access to Windows. I had upgraded to Windows 8 from 7. Will I be able to repair the install using the upgrade ISO if I have burnt it to a DVD? Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing.

You'll want to grab your win8 dvd and follow this guide.
Keep in mind though, that it'll be to your benefit to make a backup image of your hdd as it is now before you delete grub and ubuntu and merge your partitions together.
