SAW 3D

So yeah the new and the last Saw movie, i was a HUGE fan of the first one, but mehh it's just not as good as a series




so what are your thoughts on the new movie and the series a whole

Looks pretty cool. My favorite saw movies are 1,2 and 4 (3 was kinda meh) I've always
liked the series since I was 14 it was epically grotesque which is something I love
in horror movies. As for calling it Saw 3D I think it is fucking stupid, I hate this
whole 3D movie trend shit. I guess they think more people will come if they say it's in 3D.

3D used to be a really big thing if your movie was 3D it was concidered the shit and ever one wanted to see it no matter how good the actual movie was, now everyone does it and it's not special, like when tvs first came out, you were so cool if you had one now everyone has one so its lost its novality, off topic

anyway saw, i think honestly the whole story is a complete mess, but i like the concept i.e. people have to mutalate themselves and/or others to stay alive, and it even taught a lessson that life is valuable so don't be a dumbass with it. Also i like the death machians in all the movies, but i think it would have been better if jigsaw was just an identity, like when the first guy died, someone took his place and they stopped finding messages with his voice, but i diegress. All i'm saying is like with most horror franchises, the first is pretty good and the rest are hit or miss (but more often then not, miss)

SAW has gone from passable to a complete train wreck back to something passable again . SAW 6 actually had what you could call characters, and a story actually revolving around the main antagonist Jigsaw. I have hopes the last one will as well, but im not screaming with confidence.
As for the 3D I think ill probably shy away from it, since im assuming it was filmed in 2D and then layers were added to make it 3D, like Clash of the Titans. If it was filmed in 3D thats a whole other story but im just not sure from what ive seen so far.

The saw series is shit, and the first two movies were the only decent ones.

The new trailer just shows how desperate these cocksuckers are. "You saw all the other Saw movies? Fuck that, this shit is super epic special awesome. It's even in 3-fucking-D and you simple minded retards love that shit, right? WATCH IT!!!"

I liked the first and the third best. Everything else wasn't as good. I only watched em to get the story. Last one huh, what they ran out of stock footage and flashbacks?

The reason the first one was so good was because it was an Indy film, it was only ever intended to have one movie but some Hollywood money grabbers thought it would be a great idea to make it a series, and so Jason and Michael Myers bastard child was born

According to the director of the first, James Wan, when he was first pitching it around the place, no one would pick it up. They all thought audiences would not go for a movie with essentially one location and two characters in the age of explosions and hot women. But after the moderate critical success and huge fan responce they have been releasing the movies like clockwork once a year for the last 7 years, halloween. But, after it was beaten last year by paranormal activity, they decided it was probably time to wrap up the series (what with paranormal activity possibly going into sequel syndrome, and consecutive beatings at the box office). So theres one more movie and another videogame on the way for SAW, but I would say we are at least into the home stretch of the franchises life. Although...I have been wrong before :S
