Sayonara - Damnit I'm bawwing again ;_;
2
Well Fakku, it seems my time here will be coming to an end shortly. With my packing done and the love of my life going out for coffee with a few of her friends before we finally say goodbye to this windy haven that is Lethbridge, I finally had time to sit down and write out my farewell. Not thirty minutes ago I was crying tears of sadness for what I am about to lose, but also tears of joy for what is going to come in the future.
I finally did it, I landed my dream job. About a day and half ago I got a phone call from a prestigious organization of which I am not allowed to disclose any major information because of the legalities surrounding my employment. However I am allowed to say that it is oriented towards the technological security field. It has taken me my entire life to get to this one point. It took not only years of schooling but years of my own research and study, days without sleep or food spent at my computer programming, hacking and doing complex math. It was all for that one phone call, the one thing I cherish more than anything else in life.
The job unfortunately involves long, stressful hours without seeing the light of day for up to a week at a time. But the adrenaline and exhilaration I am sure to experience is worth it. Because of it's nature, I will no longer be able to view or browse anything closely related to illegal material. It seems I will have to buy all of my manga, hentai and anime now. It's funny in a way, I guess this means I really will have to learn Japanese in order to watch my beloved anime. As you can guess, this includes no longer being able to frequent Fakku because of the nature of the site.
To Jacob: I am extremely happy for you, being able to bring together a community of so many individuals is not an easy task. And I am proud to say I have talked to one of the best site administrators in the world. You have been able to keep the rules relaxed while allowing everyone, including your moderators, free thought and opinion on both the forums and what goes on with the site. It's very rare to see such a community anywhere today. I only wish I could have stayed longer and maybe one day have been able to join the team and contributed somehow.
To TehMikuruSlave: I will miss you like the bro you are. I have spent many hours enjoying your witty and classy references, posts and opinions. I enjoyed trolling and being trolled by you. You have excellent taste in everything and have been a large part of why I stayed with the community for so long. Good luck with Garfest and school. Be sure to pick up enough bitches for the both of us.
To Vowels: My fellow lolicon, karaoke and Vocaloid lover, I will miss you as well. Your sense of humor is fantastic and you're probably one of the more intelligent people I've happened to have the joy of meeting in my life. Your views and opinions are much like mine and I hope you always stand steadfast in those views and opinions.
To Illumi: I will never forget the late nights I spent awake talking to you about games, anime and just general awesome. I will always remember that conversation we had on Evangelion, it is probably one of the most psychological and intelligent conversations I've ever had. You probably know more about my capabilities with computers and what kind of work I have been doing over the years more than anyone else. I will be certain to have a talk with a few of my buddies and tell them to be on the look out for you if you ever do decide to try and climb up the ranks and have those kinds of connections. It doesn't take much to get started, just get your name out there any way you can, even if it's just by offering an opinion that still works albeit it may take a bit longer.
To Waar: My fellow Canadian. It is sad that people see us the way they do, even though our country is so obviously better than others. I hope your relationship goes well and that you never change the way you are. You are definitely one of the best trolls I know and taught me the true meaning of "Mad at the internets? Never.". Because of you I was able to better my own abilities as a troll. Keep up the good work as the moderator of IB/Random and with the Waifu game.
To Tegumi: I am certain you will do well in the technological field. You have the willingness to learn and obviously the brain to do it. You have always been a joy to chat with. I hope that one day I will unknowingly read an article about your triumphs.
To Edibleghost: You are and always will be my butt buddy. Though you post rarely and I haven't seen you online as much, when you do it's always the best of times and always quality material.
To the Skype crew: I have enjoyed every second I have spent with all of you. Each of you has made my experience better in your own little way, and I hope you continue to stay the way you are for a long time to come.
To Little White Butterflies: You are among my favorite translation groups, I can't say I have ever come across a work of yours I didn't enjoy reading and fapping to. From the time you've started you now have a very nice collection of doujins under your hats. Keep up the good work!
To the Fakku Team: You among all people definitely deserve credit, it is not easy moderating as many people as there are on this site. You are among the best of the best out of the people I have met who dedicate themselves to a forum and website, even if you don't realize it. You do not treat your own team differently than members when it comes to following the rules, which is rare on any forum and is something I have come to greatly respect.
To the Fakku community: Every single one of you are pretty decent and awesome people (including you Slayer Nexus). Though more of you know me than I know you, I can say that I have enjoyed reading through all of your posts. Each opinion is valuable, even if it's written poorly or doesn't follow my views. The Chat Topics and Forum Games crew are in their own little world away from the sections I browse, I used to look down on you guys and girls, but after reading through the Cafe and various forum games, I realize now that you are not so different from us and that there is just as much drama within your world as there is on the rest of the forum. To the newly joining members, I hope you stay with the forum and become active users in the community all of the Elders and oldfags were just like you at one point, new and sometimes confused. I hope that they never forget that. Good luck to you all!
That being said. I have enjoyed every second of my time on this site, and it is thanks to everyone here. Whether I was being trolled or trolling, arguing intelligently or high and writing nonesense, it was all fun. From the day I started browsing Fakku back on the 31st of December 2006, I knew that this site was special, that it would one day become something. I came back every single day looking for new doujins and quality fap material; Nikon, Jacob and Raze never failed to feed that hunger even if the updates at times were long inbetween but if they were, you guys compensated for it greatly and I will never thank you enough for that. You three are the people who originally got me into hentai and from there anime. It is thanks to you I am now so passionate about this part of my life. I remember back when Jacob needed that $1000 dollars in order to keep the site, I contributed and so did everyone else. From what I remember it only took 5 days! That just goes to show you that this site really is special and has attached itself into many peoples hearts as well as mine.
I will be in Skype later to talk to everyone after I move the few of my belongings I need int- WAIT, THAT'S MY FUCKING CAR!
Damnit, I'm bawwing yet again. These tears just won't stop flowing.
Edit - I forgot someone.
To Sindalf: I have enjoyed all of your former and present groups releases, I have not seen the timing off once. Over the time I've spent talking to you, I have learned much about both anime and how fansubbing works, as well as what goes on in that type of community. You are my favorite quality fag and know what you're talking about, even if I and others do make fun of you sometimes, it's all in good spirit. Much of my current anime preferences have actually come from listening to your reasonings and I can now tell the difference between a shitty translation and a good translation. I thank you for this and hope you continue to do well at what you're doing.

And to think, for about two paragraphs, I was expecting a Bel Air ending.
Farewell Pyre. I didn't really know you, I haven't been around for comparatively long, but I have enjoyed your gargantuan epics of posts over my stay.

After reading this I'm at a loss for words. All I can think of is that it's all for the best. Not many people manage to land their dream job.
You're among the members here that managed to entertaining me the most with your posts. I kinda wish I got to know you better.
Good luck man. Have fun.

Well, Pyre. Looks like it was my loss not ever talking in depth with you or getting to know you better. I enjoyed your epic tales of smacking bitches and getting your ride jacked. Hopefully I will talk later with you.
Much later. Tunnel Snakes rule.
