Pretty amazing website here, you can record your screen without downloading anything. Just select the area you want to record, click record, and do what you want to before stopping it. Then, you can download the video you just recorded! It runs in the background, and won't lag your computer. The video may be a little jumpy (just a little), but it still works well, for free too.

You can always use Adobe Captivate it's a damn good program.

I rather use webcam max that i got nao. And i am nnot in need of recording my desktop anyways.
