I was renowned for making an army of Rainbow Warriors, took them to all sorts of big tournaments

now I pretty much just play Orks and my Chaos Dwarves (I usually use the regular Dwarf rules for simplicity)
yes I gave them the silly hats!

i can't get good quaity pics on here, so i'll wait until i fix the rest of my broken ones. btw, any one know a cheaper brand of paint than the gamesworkshop brand?


to make up for no pics, i'll give a couple custom tips:

i make wire from those twistys that come with plastic bags. i burn off the paper part. to make barbed wire, i lay them out in a dual row, off set by half lengths. i then take the ends that meet and make the barbs by wrapping around the the middle of the other row. twisty's are also good for lots of wire type things.

i get bits of chain from cheap keychains.

flags and banners i make from regular paper. i draw the shape i want, cut out, fold over and trace(clamshell style), then cut the other half. i use water based glue so they sometimes get that wavy wrinkled effect.

I'm going to a rogue trader store tomorrow so will get you all the paint brand names they have there-as they have a good few

1.for cheaper paints: for my models, i usually use Vallejo acrylics or Tamiya whenever they are available. Vallejo is much more controllable and flexible that GW paint.

2.for rust effects: i make my own rust using vinegar and steel wool. more on the process later.

well personally dude i wouldn't buy anything but warhammer paint now cos f how good it is... on the other hand i haven't come across any paints that are as good as and cheaper than GW paint

I remembered another custom idea, use half an old zipper for a strip of bullets.

to save frum space and effort for me i have converted this thread into a shop thead... of sorts

basically i no longer hae the room to carry all my warhammer now and i am looking for prospectful buyers to give them a good home ....

And i also have the obligatory space marine army

And i am debating starting a tau army.....dunno if i want to do that or jut invest in my death korps(I need another stormlord or reaver)...how did i miss this thread?

And i am in the process of building up a BFG 2000pt army,
Necrons or Space marines, Im not sure yet....i have all these things i want but no money to do both this and pay bills....it frustrates me

your necron army is one of the biggest iv'e ever heard of dude.... biggest and most expensive points wise considering you can only get 1 hq and 2 troops for 500 pts
