Well, if it is so inconvenient for you, maybe you and your girlfriend should try different anticonceptive methods, like pills, shots, safe days or even anal.
On the other side, I prefer condom since I feel is the safest one (IMHO, I know it's not 100% safe either) and also prevents you from sexual transmission diseases (which should not be a problem since you and your girlfriend shouldn't be doing with someone else).

Condoms like are...20 bucks for a whole box of them... that's not a lot. Unless your getting those special ones like the one with the vibrating ring or the flavored ones then it shouldn't cost that much.
If anything get them from clinics, though I don't trust those ones.
