Thank you greggrey, I'll have to get some new stuff soon heh. no problem and same here me n the wife R gana be orderin new toys soon ill let u guys know how they turn out
Since you seem to be the expert, what lube do you think would be good to use with a Sue Johnson Head Honcho? lol. The material is TPR Silicone, so something water based? I think I'll finally order some lube with this this time and try it out. If you have any specific recommendations let me know!
lol well thnx and i like astroglide gel it thick consistancy feals really nice and it works well with both male and female toys and yes even silicone because i have a few toys that are near and dear to me n the last thing i want is for them to melt away do to a cheap lube lol hope it helps
lol thanks, yeah people have been mentioning that one a lot so I'll have to try those out.
I shall look forward to this since you guys hype up lube, haha... haven't used any yet.
well are u cut or natural because if ur natural with most toys ull be fine most lubes but if ur cut u will want a gel based lube cuz it works better FYI

I have never tried a sex toy and i'm a guy.I was having thoughts about it for some time now and I was thinking of buying one, maybe a vaginal flashlight since it is a popular product.
I never had experiences like these so I am kinda nervous using it.
Having used both a fleshlight and a onnahole (Bible Black series) I can tell you that they are pleasant to use. The only problem is the price for the fleshlight, but if you want to try something cheap, get an onnahole instead. They all have a variety of pleasures on the inside, each giving a unique feel. The only problem is the maintenance with them, as for you have to clean them, I do it after every use. Sometimes I use my imagination, other times I watch a movie to go along with the rhythm.
However, I would like to see if you have more specific questions.

Of course I have some questions.
Are the materials safe?
Is it beneficial?
Is it difficult to take care of it?
How long do they last after a certain amount of usages?
Is it worth it?
I am really unsure about using a sex toy, but I just wanna live that experience of using one, and if it is worth it, then I wanna keep it for future use. ( In case I have positive replies regarding to the questions above )

Can't answer most of your other questions, since I'm a girl, lol. But material-wise, as long as you stick to phthalate-free and BPA-free materials, it should be fine. They do label the toys as such, so it's easy to find safe materials. Silicone is the best, imo, but other materials can be ok too. For a primer on sex toy materials, see here.
For care, most sex toys only need to be washed gently with soap and water, so it's not that hard.

Yes, the materials are safe. Doesn't mean you might not be allergic to them, so test out with some condoms.
Beneficial? Of course, it adds a new twist to masturbation and personally, I love the tight feeling my fleshlight has.
It isn't difficult to take are of, but it does tend to get annoying in my opinion, but like everything else, you have to keep them in tip top shape.
I hardly used my fleshlight more than five times in the past year, (I hardly have the time) but they have all been worth it. I don't think there is a limit to them, but I might be wrong.
If you have the money to spend, sure, go for it. Otherwise, get a cheaper toy and see how you end up liking it and maybe buy a fleshlight in the future.

Got my new gear. I've been so dead tired this week I didn't last long, but wow lube is awesome and I should've bought a new fleshlight ages ago. Gonna be fun when I actually have energy.
The bad news, the damn fleshlight already tore around the entrance, no idea when it happened but jeeze. It's a Super Head Honcho though and kind of cheap, maybe that explains it...

1. As long as you're not allergic to latex and choose a latex toy, they're 100% safe.
2. Not sure what you mean by beneficial - I find my fleshlight to be very relaxing, pleasurable, and fun.
3. Rinsing with water regularly is all the maintenance you need.
4. I've had mine for about three years now and use it maybe once or twice a week - it's showing a little wear and tear but no major damage. I'm not rough with it at all, though.
5. The question of being "worth" it really depends on you and how much you masturbate. If you masturbate frequently, like finishing quickly, and/or just like getting off for the sake of it then a toy is probably worth it. For me, masturbation is a fun way to relax just as much as it is a need to "release" and I usually indulge myself several times a day/night.
Get a cheap toy first, imo, then go from there.

Hmm, so would you guys count "masturbator sleeves" as real fleshlights? That's how the new one I got is categorized sometimes.
The new one I got is pretty awesome, but I guess now that I have some spare money and can trust NawtyThings... I'd be curious in trying out some other ones, maybe higher quality. Anyone got any recommendations?
I like how the Super Head Honcho I got was pretty jello-y, even smelled kind of ... nice? when I first took it out of the box, lol.
Suffice to say, definitely been having fun with it lately... totally worth it, same with the lube! Not sure if I can go back now. Only problem is the lube definitely makes it messier, settings things up and all. But it's totally worth it in the end heh.
I keep trying to keep it going after I've released though (note not IN the toy of course), but man it's tough. Guess I'm pretty sensitive afterwards, haha, but there's nothing more that I'd love to see than a girl gently suck me dry after I've finished someday... :P

Chop , hack , rip , poke. Old fashioned sex toy creation. Costs only about $ 7.00 USA , works well , very easy to hide since its a common item , needs lube sometimes , hard to remove. Go to a hardware store for more details.

Releasing inside is fun, though!I'm actually curious about this. Really, it's not hiding it from people that prevents me from buying a proper sex toy. It's the cleanup and maintenance. Specifically, I'm confused about actually releasing "in" the toys. Which ones can I do it in, and is it technically "hygenic"? :S
... god, I must sound like a baby now. -__-

I see no problem with it, I just rinse it off with warm water. Of course, I don't wait like 30 minutes either and immediately go to the sink. I've done it to a fleshlight and an onna hole multiple times and they still work fine.

OK... I see. What toy would you recommend a first timer to get? And I mean, very beginner-type. Something that could be easy to reuse and maintain.

Just anything that is around $20, to see if you like using toys. I got a Bible Black Onna Hole from AX that cost me $15 at one of the booths and it is rougher, but I like it. Gotta love JList. It's easy to clean also since one can easily turn it inside out.
There are American toys that cost around the same, some are $30 for example. High profile adult shops carry around from the cheap $10 to the "brand" ones that are in the around the $20-$50 and then the expensive Fleshlights, all kinds.

Won't I need lube as well? :|

High profile adult shops carry all sorts of lube, of course, some lube might end up ruining a toy so it is better to ask around. I don't know much about lube and just go in raw, I just use water as a cheap substitution.

Oooooor just wear a rubber. Getting one that's already lubricated saves some steps too, I'd assume.
Plus, you get the added advantage of people thinking you're getting laid lol.
