I like pretty much anything where she's on top. This is in part due to my partner's very pronounced likes; she gets off on power, to put it bluntly. Which in turn gets me hot and bothered. I guess over the years I've developed slight subbish tendencies because of that. Matter of fact is, by now it turns me on when she's in charge. Due to our respective preferences, positions where she's in charge are thus what we use most. I'd say, probably 4/5ths of the time.

My favorite position is probably what they call "amazon style" (...): The female laying atop the male, in a sort of reversal of the missionary position. It's great because there's lots of body contact, it's easy to kiss, she can grind against his pubic bone if she likes, and everything from mad rutting to playful sex to intimate lovemaking is possible. It's even better when she shoves her feet beneath him.

Another favorite of mine is a sorta modified "lotus position" (the names they give them...). Basically, the male sits down in an upright position, and the female wraps herself around him. It has a reputation for requiring athletic participants, which is clearly undeserved. By having him sit down on a couch, reclining against its backrest, the weight of both bodies is shifted onto the furniture, plus she gets better purchase for moving, making it easy as pie. It shares most of its advantages with the aforementioned position, but it feels decidedly...different.

In the remaining 20% of cases where we do it from behind, a mirror is a must. Doing it without being able to see her face is horrible.
