I write lemons quite frequently, but I mostly keep them to myself or show them to handful of friends because I'm pretty self-conscious about my writing because I have poor grammar and diction.
I did post one of my lemons on Fakku in the Writing section: here.
I enjoy writing them. I usually write ones based on anime or games I happen to be enjoying at the time, and for a while I had a stint of writing Harry Potter smut. >.>
Joe-kun writes a lot lemons and posts them in Writing (and Lemons), so you might check them out.
As for being misunderstood, I don't believe any of my "real life" friends are familiar with the fact that I write smut. And all of my online friends have similar interests in anime and hentai so it isn't much of a logical leap for them to accept that I write lemons.

Rarely do I ever write sexual stories. I mostly stick with romance stories and fantasy like and rpg story.
I did how ever write a sexual story when I was 18 about tenchi Moyuo I decided to make it like a harem type of plot with romance and hentai scenes.
I lost it once I lost my flash drive TT_TT so if I ever felt like it I would like to do it again.
My opinion about this type of writing is the same that I have with hentai it is an art. It is a means to tell a story about intercourse and the joys and sorrows it brings. If you like reading or writing it good for you, if you don't then you don't.
I personally will read anything as long as it keeps me entertained.

I'm a regular of asstr.org, if that's any indication.
As for tips, avoid IKEA erotice.
I've never tried writing smut. If I ever did, it will be over the top like Krellscholar -- think Monzetsu by John K Peta, except in story form.

I like smut mangas and that chapter 16.5 in the sword art online light novel.
it just makes the relationship deeper between the characters.

it's very general applies for most things this method.
just practice writing and keep going.and show your work to others so they could tell you what your weaknesses and strengths are.It may be uncomfortable to present others with explicit material but how can you improve with no input?

I've written some lemon stories in another forums and read a few, it's quite interesting to read another person's story.

Ahhh yes, adult literature. The free world of writing mixed with the enthralling world of erotica.
I have read a commendable number of both good and bad stories in my short life. And very much enjoy them.
I've read most from the same sites linked by others within this thread.
I'm a novice writer who has done a few sexually-centered tales in the past. But I enjoy reading other writers' work more, so I don't write very often.
As far as tips: try implementing the writing style of other peoples' stories into your own. For practice if nothing else. This will essentially let you explore different ways of writing the same thing. There is no one way to a destination in writing, no indefinite descriptions.
Read what you write, preferable aloud. It's the best way to spot mistakes. If it sounds off to you, it will most likely sound off to the reader.
Practice does not make perfect, but it does make better. The more you read and write, the more your skills will improve.

I don't have a talent for story writeing, not even in my language. I'd write crap if I wanted to do some english stories. Although I had some crasy experiences back in highschool, I just don't know how to write them down proplerly.
Oh, and I read lemons, I even reqiested one, but no one wanted to read a story like that. :'(
