Not Gunpla. but I finally finished painting my HMM Blade Liger AB Van Custom. Lots of seams to be dealt with, some were tolerable, but the most irritating ones were located at the Attack Boosters themselves. Pretty well engineered and detailed kit if I say so myself. Spoiler:
Wow, very nice. Don't see too many zoids get that level of work put into them.

MG Burning Gundam. My fourth Gunpla, my first MG.
Pictures are taken with a Nintendo 3DS XL camera, that's why they're shit.
Spoiler:
I still prefer the ease and simplicity of HG's. My fingers hurt...
Nice choice for your first MG and great job on it too.
With time, you'll get used to MG's and building a HG won't be as satisfying as building a MG.

Using some silver around the areas was for breaking up the monotony of the dark navy blue parts. I was prudent in using different shades so as not to make it “too colorful”.

After you build a lot more kits you’ll be able to see the pros and cons between the 2 grades. Both are not necessarily better or worse than the other, you’ll just have to find out which you are more comfortable with.
I do agree with Satsugai that when it comes to the building aspect MGs are more satisfying. However I do think it’s more satisfying to paint an HG than an MG. Why? Well, because HGs will one way or the other require some masking or hand painting and some ingenuity in seam line removal , so it’s comparable to the accomplishment of overcoming a huge wall or something like that ^_^

you can up the detail by simply giving panel linings if you want.
