Sick in the Season

So I just came back from a doctor's appointment after experiencing a sudden appearance of symptoms after waking up on Election Day, turns out I have the flu. I am now quarantined in my house for a week at a crucial point where I actually have to do some work for my college classes as finals are just around the corner.
Anyone else here possibly caught something/feel a sickness coming on?
Fun Fact: I did go to school before my doc's appointment and I most likely did spread it.

I actually missed going to school for the entire month of October from being sick. Two weeks in the hospital, two weeks at home. I only started going back this week. I got excused from school for my absences, but not from the work. Not to mention I was still working from home during the time and still going to the office about twice a week once I got back home.
Besides being sore all the time, it was sorta like a nice vacation to be honest.

I get over my colds really fast.
The shortest cold I've had was around 6 hours.
Try drinking tons of OJ with the pulp!

I just had it a day ago. I was constantly vomiting, shaking, diarrhea, etc... for about 36 hours straight. Talk about physically and emotionally draining.

I was sick a week or so ago. It must be because of the changing of the seasons or something, but I always get sick around this time of year. I hope that everyone who's sick out there gets well soon!

I normally will get a cold once a year but I always fight off the flu, makes me feel like crap the day my body goes to war, but sure as hell is better then throwing up.

The worse that's happened to me this year is that I woke up a few weeks ago not being able to hear out of my right ear, cleared up eventually though.
I don't eat healthily at all but I hardly ever get ill, I can sometimes feel a cold building up but it goes before it can become anything bad. I suppose it's nice but I like to have the odd day off college ;___;

We all at any given time are fighting off around 9 different diseases in our body anyway... they are all non-lethal of course...
Having a fever and cough just means that the body is upped its security level (if you can say that) of the disease and is working to get rid of it

Being sick makes me really passive to everything. If I saw a family of kittens being run over I'd just say "meh" and move on. Luckily that hasn't happened lately.
