Me and my woman have really nothing common. I'm a punk, anti social person with a lust of gore and drinking people and she a top 40 listening, social person who hates horror and doesn't care for me trying to get her to let me... drink her more often. Opposites attract... and perverted equals come together. Only thing we have in common as sexuality and romance. And i knew her since high school and friends for so fucking long.
She still a bleeding heart liberal and i'm an old anarchist turn moderate hate all party person. We just love each other and fuck the rest slice of life people.
I still want her to let me fuck/suck her more often.

Pretty sure most people would like someone who shares similar interests, but is not the same person. After all the only kind of person that absolutely loves every single part about themselves is a narcissist.
If you have nothing in common with someone then that just leads to arguments and mutual dislike of each other. They say opposites attract but I dunno I don't think I could go out with someone who hates Dark Souls. Even if someone is different from you there is at least something they share, regardless if it's something small or not.

Well in my opinion, the most likely for the ones I gave to last the longest is the fourth one...yes the fourth one.
Two people, almost the same in every aspect you look at them besides their physical appearance and sex of course. Doesn't matter if they are nice or horrible people, the only thing that will make them dissolve is if they do begin to hate themselves.
But the hardest thing is finding people that love themselves that much.
In my perspective, people with similar interests get together faster than people with differences, but they also break up a lot faster than the latter.
Cuz when they start to truly get to know the person, they realize that they are pretty different from who they know they are.
And also that since they thought they were pretty similar in the beginning, they didn't get to have more chances of knowing the person better.
While people with dissimilarities tend to get to know the other better or maybe start as friends before they start an intimate relationship.
Some usually argue about stuff, but I believe that is what people are looking in a serious relationship.
Arguing, for me, means that they are voicing their opinion so that the both of you can come to a better solution or conclusion, and that is usually done because they care about what will happen or might happen.
And maybe that is where the "Opposites attract" come into place
