Smart Phone Plan advice.

Hey
I just bought my very first smartphone. So I got some questions hopefully some of you can verify (I already researched it but I guess it won't hurt double-asking)
1) Which network is free Wi-Fi or 3G and 4G? (Never cared for going to the internet when I had my blackberry since It was slow and crap.)
2) Will it matter what network I use if I have a contract such as this;
Unlimited Texts
Unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile Minutes
Unlimited Internet
2,000 any-network Minutes
3) What do you guys think of the Samsung Galaxy S3?
Thanks :)

All smart phone have wifi on them. Free to use if you find a hot spot or your own.
If you have T-Mobile then your using t mobile services or using the other towers with their service. I never roam.. it not possible with verzion.
Meh. no better then anyother phone.

Your carrier will force a data plan on you. However using wifi will not count towards the cap that you purchased. So just do what I do and turn off data on the phone and get the cheapest plan you can. Right now I just have a 200 MB plan from AT&T for $15 a month. Its still plenty if you want to randomly use the internet to look up something or to use GPS for navigation. And more than likely wherever you are that you would want to use the internet there will be wifi available (home, bar, friends house, coffee shop, school, etc.) You can find an app to add a button on your home screen to turn off data. I just made a widget using Elixir 2 that also turns on/off wifi, bluetooth, sync, and gps.
