I notice that people who do have this "problem" seem to have a greater affinity for artistic viewpoint.

Others may see this as weird and awkward, but it has its perks. I feel confident in my swordsmanship and unarmed combat, because I'm able to visualize the environment around me, and react accordingly. (Yes, this has proven results in my sparring matches with others.)

I did this all the time. Still do.
