So it's a start...

Just started a new band with competent musicians. I ditched the metal game and went back to my roots as a kid which was pop punk (although I'm still a metal fan.)

Forgive the quality and the singing my buddy was kinda having trouble remembering the lyrics not to mention the mic we put in the center of the room didn't pick his vocals up very good.

"the journey of a thousand miles starts withe a single step" or something like that, with some better mics and stuff it could be pretty good.
