Some help for ipod nano 4G

Is there anyway to change the ipod nano 4G's background image?
i understand that the firmware must be modified etc etc, and apple has no legal way to modify the 4G background

Disregarding it, is there any user here who knows how to modify the background?

tried ipodwizard with no success. keeps freezing up at "load Firmware"

Don't try to. The iPod nano is only useful for playing music. There is no real point to having a background image anyway, and its battery isn't something impressive.

If you want custom backgrounds or more features, then just shell out the money for an iPod touch 4G or an iPhone 4.

Sucks for me.i really wanted to see a background on the menus of the nano
i shall continue trying to find a way tho, as im broke, and im pretty sure my nano can survive the battery backlash.

I don't think you should keep wasting your time. The iPod nano has been unhackable from the 3G and onwards. Currently you can only hack the 1G and 2G.
