Today one of my dogs going to a new home. she's been living in my house for three years and has an abundance of personality. she's been staying in the front house for the last two weeks because she was spayed and her elizibethan collar won't fit through my smaller dog door. every time I go over to the other house, it's painfully obvious how attached to me she is(and I to her). she get's so excited, and tries to follow me back through the gate. the rest of the time, she just lies in her crate.
she's going to a good family, and she'll also be a therapy dog visiting old people in convalescent homes. even with all the other people who I know she will make happy, it still hurts to let her go.

Well, not really today, but this month. I've surveyed the market for the last two months (which is why I haven't showed up here lately), and after a careful calculation, I opened a special livestock slaughterhouse for Muslims. To put it simply, lots of Muslims in Indonesia are wary of the 'halal'-ness of food they ate, including. FYI, we Muslims has lot of regulations regarding 'halal' foodstuffs (especially regarding meat), and there are lots of questionable meat out there. Inspired by this, we made an exclusive contract with several livestock farm to have their stock slaughtered in my slaughterhouse. So far, I have a 3 year long contract with McDonald and KFC in Java, as well as exclusive supplier for several Muslim boarding school, ensuring that the meat they eat is cheap, healthy, and most of all, halal. In these two weeks since the opening day, I have slaughtered about 800 chickens and 100 cows in total, with a clean profit for about $15,000. Not bad for the first two weeks.
