Songs That Make You Cry

Be it a song that has a strong emotional connection to you, or a song that's just so sad that you just can't help but to cry. Post 'em here.

I'll just go ahead and get this one out of the way...

I can't even make it to a full minute without having to at least shed a tear.

Just something about it makes my eyes well up.


I hate country, but this song just gets to me.

About the only song that makes me feel sad.

For me it has to be Say Anything with "All choked up" - that song gets me everytime.

Makes my eyes burn with sorrow

The Innocence Mission's "We Walked In Song" is pretty much a tear-jerking album. So good, but so sad. THIS song brings me close to tears every time I hear it.


This one use to make me almost cry when I was a kid. (It's in Spanish)


This one gets me choked up as well.


Not sure what else I have (as these are on the top of my head).
Not sure if these songs make me cry because they sounds like they do, or because I've made some sort of special connection to the lyrics. Either way, they're good songs emotionally.

Never, none at all~ does that count? For crying but to feel sad for urrr...cant think of at the moment.

A number of songs here and there have the ability to bring me close to tears, but here are two songs in a category by themselves, if you know about what the artist was going through.

Another song that can pull a little tear is Queens "These Are The Days of Our Lives"

This one makes me shed tears of happiness and joy after having my ears tormented by 'fancy' music for so many hours.

There's a song on the Pokemon the Movie 2000 soundtrack that makes me cry... I heard a schoolmate had died while I listened to it. :(
