Songs to Listen to While Gaming
0
So, as the title implies, what songs do you like to listen to while playing video games. Well, I'll post like 5 or 6 because I'm OP of this thread. Well, I like aggressive music that pumps me up because I play lots of shooters and multiplayer.
There you guys go. 5 songs that I like to listen to while gaming. Although this thread may be moved to the video games section, I believe it shouldn't because I'm not talking about the video games or music made for video games, I'm talking about music you like to listen to WHILE playing video games.
I'll post more music up if this thread takes off. Also, I know there are probably multiple threads about this particular topic, but you know what? I looked in the past few pages and didn't see this topic anywhere, so I thought I'd bring it up, maybe get a discussion goin', and score some deal for some 7 gram crack rocks. Here's to hoping.
P.S: Haters gonna hate if they hate on what I post.

Depends on what I'm playing. If it's faced paced or actionish, I'll probably listen to stuff along the lines of Justice. If it's something where i'll be grinding, I'll tend to listen to Jean Jacques Perry, and similar things to kind of tone out the monotony

If it's an a violent shooter, like BF3, anything Avenged Sevenfold, RPG's maybe some J-Rock and some good ol' metal

I usually listen to either Beethoven, Classic Rock, Techno or Prokofiev.
Usually classical and rock when I play VN's.
And when I play Xbox it's usually 1 hour long techno mixes. Don't have to switch songs that much then.

It really depends on what I am playing.
For example the song "Commander Sheppard" is the one that I listen to when playing Mass Effect.
When I am playing Civilization I just play "Rise of the Empire" loudly. While when playing shooting games, I listen to "Hunting High and Low".

Like grenul said, I listen to the in-game music.
Video game soundtracks are usually fantastic.
I'm sometimes in the mood for some up-beat music while playing.

Yeah, I do listen to the in-game music for games like Skyrim (best game soundtrack ever), Half-Life, and Mass Effect, but for multiplayer and first-person shooters (Call of Duty, Battlefield, and TF2 mainly) I like to listen to music that is more on par with the tone and mood rather than just some filler music that you hear waiting in lobbies and at the beginning of matches. In that respect, I listen to a lot of different music for that, like dubstep and brostep playlists (I know, I love robots having sex), house playlists, metal playlists, etc. That's just my opinion, but I bet more people on here will disagree with me than people who do.

Listening to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack a lot now that I'm back playing GoW/CoD. However, usually it's some Woodkid or Kid Cudi, with some random techno thrown in there.

I listen mainly to metal (and energic rock music in general) when playing a racing game. Don't listen too much music with other games though.

I play Blacklight: Retribution and I can not play that game without some Periphery in my ears.

It varies day to day and game to game. But the oddest songs i have played while gaming would be disney songs, somehow it just worked.

Depends really on what game am I playing. If the game music is nice, then I'll not ruin it.
But then at some instance that I'm playing DotA with my friends, it will be some "piano moods" mixed with some bachata music (los toros band) and some leningrad music, like these one:
but then when I'm really into it, then songs like this comes into my playlist:

I have to say, these songs get me goin' when playing Team Fortress 2:
I don't know why, but these two are just fantastic to listen to while playing Team Fortress 2 when I'm sniping with the Huntsman. Anyways, nice choices people!

It really depends. If it's a game where the music is worth listening to like Final Fantasy then I'm going to listen to the in-game music. If it's an online shooter then anything that's on my iTunes. A lot of the time it's Vocaloid music or some Japanese band/group I like. There's nothing specific really.
