Ok so are these guys gonna be the antagonists for the rest of the season or are they just a one time thing? I kind of want an enemy for the crew, but I would rather them have just meet alien races and then never seen them again. Oh and the space battle was pretty boring at least in my opinion guess I shouldn't have expected much.

Id like to see more scifi (space exploring, stargate travel, Aliens) and less politics... otherwise it's pretty good

I was kinda dissapointed with the conclusion of today's episode. They were pretty much right. The military really shouldn't be running the show and have so far refused to surrender any decision making power at all.

I for one agree with the military leadership. Seriously, they're in a fucking deep space with no knowledge what could happen next. That's no time for democracy.
The shields/weapons struggle might work against me on this, but still.

To be honest, I feel like I'm watching Battlestar Galactica, which I do like, but still, I wish it was more along the lines of SG-1 and Atlantis, especially with the sense of humor that those two shows had, I think it is a bit too dark and depressing at the moment. I'll still watch it though, since it IS a Stargate series.

Yeah, that episode was pretty disappointing. Everything that happened was incredibly obviously going to happen and there wasn't even any real interesting side things.

I'm somehow disappointed they didn't follow the previous episode (the pregnancy thing).

Yeah pretty much. I liked how they didn't even bother to even try and find another exit for more than like a minute. They just had two people sitting there on their thumbs because apparently that's what the plot wanted them to do.

That's the kind of thing that is a slow over a season (or more) sub-plot, it doesn't get resolved in a couple of episodes. And it wouldn't really make a lot of sense if it did.

I think we all know why were reading this post. Only 5 days before I kill the producers for leaving such a bitch ass cliffhanger.

So I cant wait but yeah basically this is a bump just in case people didn't know the gate of the star was back.
