Steaks N Bell Peppers w/ Gravy

First you start with a Hawaiian style marinade with a twist which is composed of equal parts salt, sugar, and pepper with a splash of vegetable oil. In a freezer zip lock bag rub this marinade on both sides of the steaks. Once done get as much air out of the bag as possible and store in a drawer of refrigerator for about two and a half days(giggity).
Next at desired day spray a skillet with non stick spray. From there apply lard (I use a kosher based lard I homemade)butter or margarine to the skillet. Let melt then core and chop one green bell pepper. Saute the bell pepper strips till wilted.
Then put the steaks in the skillet with the peppers and cover with lid. Judging from your indivudal like of doneness apply two splashes of basic'o wine(or what ever alcoholic beverage you have)to the skillet cover and let simmer.
Finally the wine should have deglazed the skillet and you can take out the steaks and spread bell peppers atop of the steaks in any fashion. Add flour to the juices left in skillet till mixture thickens into a gravy and pour onto the dish.
Enjoy!
