i was wondering if there was a way to stop having lucid dreams because without fail every night i have a lucid dream and they are not always that great some border on night terrors but yeah i cant seem to stop and i wake up feeling tired as if i had gotten no actual sleep at all. Does anybody else constantly lucid dream?

sorry to ask but because they are lucid dreams you are aware your dreaming, and if it goes bad as you say can you not change the dream too as you see fit?

Meh he's probably facing lucidity in the form that he can tell he's in a dream but can't rematerialize it to his liking/leave.My suggestion is when it occurs to you that you are in a dream and you have that idea in your dream that something bad is going to happen, try first to open your eyes, if that fails, depending on location and situation attempt suicide or something less frightful than what your facing . for example, because of spending time last night watching dead island walkthroughs and HotD, I dreamt of a zombie apocalypse at a beach I use to visit when I was young, because I couldn't open my eyes I thought of suiciding off the pier and into a small cluster of rocks, although you'll still feel that sudden drop into bed you won't have that rush afterwards that forces you awake, anyways gl and I hoped this helped

That would be Controlled Dreaming your thinking of, Lucid dreamers are poeple who are self-aware, and know they are dreaming. Even though they are diffrent, you do need some level of Dream Control to Lucid dream.
back to topic, If you are lucid dream every day you should look into serious help for that, as soon as the cycle goes past 5-15 per month it becomes very difficult to break and even harder to get back ANY dream when you get out of it.
For now, Before you go to sleep, eat some junk food (Pizza, chips, cookies and kind of sweets) it usally help with not dreaming that night, but this is only something personal, if it doesn't work for you, do something that makes you unready to sleep.

(edit) I should also add, If your having night terrors while lucid dreaming, it can be dangerous to continues sleeping that night, but Lucidity should help with making a nightmare better, rather than worse.

If you really are having a lucid dream, then you should be able to control whats going on. However, in order to have a Lucid dream, you must first realize that you are dreaming, which sounds like the condition you're in. I rarely have any dream recall, and it's even more rare for me to realize that I'm dreaming. I'm sorry I have no experience with this, but if you're having nightmares, I think you have 3 options:
1) Learn to lucid dream, so that you can imagine a way to overcome whatever's frightening
2) Learn to wake up from nightmares
3) stop watching any gore/horror videos

I never thought in lucid dreaming you have full control just control of the person you are dreaming to be. A normal dream to me is on where I'm not even in it and it's like watching a movie.
I always find the bad dreams to do with a bad sleeping habits. Either being horror or maybe emotional like dreaming of real life in a horrible way. I can have a horror dream and enjoy it some times I wake up and wonder why am I not scared, but it's because the sleep was good.

yeah man you should try to get help because it can become a dangerous problem to have if its messing with your daily life (dizziness, insomnia, sluggishness, ect.) it was a huge problem for me especially since i work with heavy equipment and such at work and i would suggest seeing a doctor for advice due to the fact that your mind is most likely different from anyone else's but i wish you luck my friend and a good nights rest
