[TCF April] Deep Fried Mars Bar in Irn Bru Batter

I went to Scotland for a week and had heaps of amazing food. Mostly Vietnamese, so I decided to try out some of the more Scottish foods. I tried haggis and another of Scotland's most notorious fast foods, the deep fried mars bar. And to add an even more Scottish touch, I used Irn Bru - a bright orange Scottish soft drink - in the batter. Very easy to make, alright tasty, not that healthy - more one of those decadent foods which you make to entertain, not something you want on a regular basis...

I love Fried Mars Bar, and I kid you not, I can finish 10 of them back then when I bought a bag full of them!

just finishing one was enough for me to not want one again for quite a while O.o

I love the idea, it's a well put together dish that is easy and simple. There don't seem to be any overpowering ingredients, which is always a plus in my book. Altogether, a 9/10

Also, should any US citizens wish to attempt this, the mars bar is VERY similar to the Snickers bar.
