Teleportation, is it the best super-power?

It's ok but not the best if I had a power it would be electricity

I prefer flight myself, but I guess teleportation comes pretty close to that.

Both are good but I have several problems when I've thought of them and how exactly they would end up working.

Individually, there are a number of flaws in each power and you would need to state what would happen in certain scenarios or events occurred.

Invulnerability at its core meaning would mean you'd be protected from anything and everything. But if you refer specifically to physical damage, thats when real problems would occur. Superman level invulnerability doesn't protect you from everything; it doesn't protect you from old age, nor does it protect you from mental damage.

Immortality itself, without lots of additional clauses, would probably be very bad. You're body would still decay, but you'd be unable to die, and just imagine if you were injured with what should be a fatal wound. And there eternal hunger pains! Even if you managed to stay out of harms way, and had eternal youth, you would be faced with watching everything around you waste away.

If you manage to stay sane through all that you'd still be faced with the death of out planet, solar system, galaxy and inevitably the death of our universe (however it comes about). What comes after that would be based on whichever form our universe ends in.

Basically I'd only want to be immortal/invulnerable for as long as it is fun.
But what power you pick isn't up to me, I just thought I'd share my thoughts on some of these.

Time is a GOD tier power.
You know what? by using time, you can amplify your own strength or break the laws of science.

If you're power is only limited to time that is, how would you use it to amplify your own strength? I see a few possibilities but none that would do anything inhuman. Unless you meant something other than physical strength. Also what laws of science would you be breaking? Not all of them and not permanently.


That would be the basically the end result without any conditions applied to immortality. But I assume most people would have those conditions that would prevent such deterioration.

I don't need to control everyone, I can create my own little utopia for me and my friends. True I would be a ruler but as history has shown it's(dictatorship/monarchy) as effective as any form of government.

I did mean geographic area, so that anyone (time manipulators included) were to enter my field I could control their power as well.

Although the time one seems pretty cool, I've always wanted to be able to shapeshift like Mystique. Idk, just to fuck with people, lol. Plus, if I rob a bank (totally robbing a bank) I'd never get caught. Muahahaha. But I'd want to be able to do anything, like animals and w/e too.

OT: I think Teleportation is pretty good, but as previous posters say, controlling time would be more badass.

I would want to have full controll over time.
Pros : Do what you want and never give a fuck about it. Live forever.
Cons : Do it alone.

I looked at the topic and immediately said time travel was better. When time is stopped you can immediately get where you need to go without being in a hurry. You just wouldn't have to hurry if you stopped time.

If that was a realistic question zombies would have to exist in the first place, and as we don't know the mental capacity of a zombie we would need to assume I was unable to control them. The only way I would be fucked would be if I were unable to use others to stop them, so if I was alone and unable to reach other human beings. That being said I would not even need to use my powers if zombies were the issue, the good ole "bash their brains in" would probably be my first idea.

Teleportation... nope for me. It only works as the "best" if you're interested in making your travels easier and faster (or if you're frequently running late for things).

For me, no. Even if I have teleportation abilities, it's convenient but I'd be rarely interested in using it.

Note: Superpowers are best fitted for people who need them, not for people who want them. Because only the people who need them knows how to use them, and the ones who want them only knows how to play with them.

Well I would not call it "the best", but still its a very nice ability.

Re-materialization is the best power, Even if your body is completely destroyed you can rematerialized using the physical matter that makes up all living things.
