A little late, but I actually ended up watching a lot of the Australian Open when it was live. I stayed up at night and watched many matches, especially Roddick and Serena.
I learned to really love Tsonga's game from this Australian Open and I just realized how GOOD Federer really is. Jeez that guy is dominant. Serena is just tenacious. I was disappointed Roddick lost though... ;-; Would have been a great story if we won. Down 2 sets with a bum shoulder, he fought back to make it 2-2 but he just lost the last set...
I'm looking forward to the next Opens. >w<

The US open is always fun. It's the only one I pay attention too probably because it falls in the end of summer when I have nothing better to do.
Also, my dad always gets free tickets for the Rogers Cup but I haven't had a chance to go yet. I should really go one of these days.
Nadal > Federer

I want to go see the SAP open someday. I hear it's fun and full of great tennis.
I like the US Open. They are live when I'm not supposed to be sleeping. >w< Wimbledon is always full of drama though. It's great to watch these stories unfold as they battle ,point after point, game after game, set after set. >w<

Well, it's not like it matters that much. All the good players play in the afternoon anyways. It's not like we're missing much.

You need a lot of stamina to play tennis. Especially a 5 set match. >w<
I wonder why Tennis players eat bananas between sets. I've always wondered.

Tennis is boring as crap...I also have no control when I swing so it flies out of the fence all the time....

Tennis is only boring when you're watching it. It's a fun fast paced game, I never get bored when playing it.

I think it's fun watching tennis >_<
There's so much drama and it's interesting watching the strategies and the type of shots they hit. Serves are always exciting.

Well...it's definitely better compared to watching golf or nascar.(should not be considered as a sport anyway)
I would watch tennis for like 10-20mins then my reflexes starts to kick in which caused me to change the channel to NBAtv.(unless if its a very close match or when I saw Serena Williams lost her cool after the foot fault call in that one game)

Actually the reason behind this is that bananas digest really quickly thus providing a quick dose of energy to help them get through those especially grueling matches.

Swimmers eat a lot of bananas as well. It isn't for digestive reasons though it is because bananas are full of potassium which helps reduce leg cramps.

That makes sense, although I don't know if nutrients can be absorbed that fast. Maybe it's how the banana is made. >_<

Which make the digestion 200% faster because of the enzymes that we have in the there.

Actually, banana release their energy at a slower rate than other sugary foods. Unless the match goes on for an entire day, eating a banana doesn't do much energy wise.

The last time I played tennis was at this club in N.Y. I was celebrating getting into a good school and the Dean of Admissions knew my father, so we went out to some country club and played tennis. I made a total idiot out of myself cuz I asked him what everyone kept saying "Love" for. I had honestly never played tennis before, so I didnt really know!
We ended up just stopping the game and going golfing instead...
