Hey guys, I dont usually post here, but I thought I might as well ask. This year I volunteered to help with the holiday cooking. And since I'm in charge of the turkey and the ham, I would like to ask you peeps to give give any good home recipes you guys might know.
Also, you dont have to limit yourself to only ham/turkey. Anything else good would be greatly appreciated.

turkey which is banned in my faith dietery laws... fuck that i like a turkey sandwich.
buy a roasting bag for the turkey and use it for the ham, it cook it faster and keep the juices in it longer than plain roasting it.
stuff for the turkey
rub the turkey with melted butter, season with pepper, garlic powder and sea salt.
cook the the time on the bag for the size of the turkey, when done remove the bag and cook until brown and spoon the juices on the bird every 5 mins to keep juicy.
ham, pepper, garlic powder and if you want cloves, can try the old school way by pouring dr pepper or coke while cooking... only in the south would they think of that. the turkey bag works great with this too.
here a site to know what the hell im talking about http://www.reynoldsovenbags.com/
i have recipes for old school apple pie like they ate in the old days, and cheese and potato casserole.
