The Gundam SEED Movie
Do you want a SEED movie?

This so called movie has been in "production" or should I say indefinite hiatus for quite some time now. I don't recall how long since they announced that there was gonna be a movie taking place after Destiny but with new and better Gundam goods like the upcoming Gundam 00 movie premiering in September of this year and the ongoing Gundam UC OVAs, is there really a point for this so called SEED movie to even come out?
In my opinion, Destiny fucked the SEED series so bad I don't think any amount of new SEED stuff can ever redeem the series. Stargazer was good but it simply wasn't enough to save it. And with all the good guys from SEED now on the sides of Orb and Zaft, any SEED sequel would be utterly predictable and would just make the Earth Alliance even more evil than they already are for having no good characters on their side. My take is that if the SEED movie ever gets produced, it's just gonna be the same as the first two SEED shows. Therefore not interesting or even worth watching cause I don't want to see Gundam plot armor or Kira Yamato and his super friends having more flawless victories. So I do not want this movie to come out and in fact it would be better to just scrap whatever progress this movie made.
So now my question is do you want a SEED movie? Why or why not?

Yeah, it's on permanent hiatus due to the producer, or something majorly important in the project, has cancer, and cannot continue the project. And yeah, a good portion of the characters change factions. Jesus Yamato sides with ZAFT, whereas with Athrun Zala, goes back to Orb.
Honestly, I could care less if the Seed movie is ever done. If they had done a better job with Seed Destiny, then I might be saying sure, I want it.

Even with the failure that was Destiny, it would still be interesting to see what they can come up with now. I don't think I'd even dare to hope it would be anything as great as Stargazer, though.

Absolutely not. My bet is that if they do make the SEED movie, they're going to try to make it epic and fail. Then, all of the SEED fans will watch it and begin comparing it to Char's Counterattack. But I could be wrong. I mean they could always put another GENESIS cannon in the mix, and make Kira even more unstoppable to mix things up a little. Oh wait...

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
I'll just go ahead and agree with all of you. I thought Destiny was a big ole pile of crap, and really a movie (Unless it was made of chocolate and sex) couldn't redeem that.

The only way Destiny can EVER be forgiven is if they scrapped the story and completely rewrite it. Otherwise no.

I'm just pointing out the truth. New mecha designs aren't going to make this series any better. And if SEED wanted to have a more interesting story, they should have kept Shinn as the main character in Destiny. SEED lost everything it gained after Destiny aired and this blunder can't be fixed because what you're suggesting is like putting lipstick on a pig.

On topic about SEED movie. I honestly like to see a SEED movie. A "real" movie not just a compilation or recap from series with edited scenes. I'd like to see how they will fix failure that been made by Destiny.
Oh and I remember before gundam 00 was released people were joking that SEED movie will copy Char's Counterattack plot lol

Haha, why the jab at me? Seems you got rather offended over my last comment.
I'm just saying, if it came out with something close to Endless Walts, I wouldn't mind watching it since it was already in production. However, I would much rather see how Gundam Unicorn does. I agree that Destiny was pretty bad, but hey, it's not the worse Gundam series ever (at least not in my opinion).
