Has anyone seen the movie yet?Left my "review" in the "Rate the last Movie you saw" thread but to keep it blunt it resembles the entire Star Wars ordeal, just not nearly as bad.
I don't know about everyone else, but I was a bit disappointed.

I saw it in the cinema today. Really can't wait for the second film~
My friends have given each other nicknames based on dwarves featured in the film, and they say that I'm similar to Bombur because of my love of food and seemingly endless appetite. In one scene he carries 3 cheese wheels to the dinner table in Bilbo's house, which made me giggle my nuts off.

Can say I'm glad I just watched the normal 2D version to start off. I can't take that crazy 3D.
Overall, I thought it was good. The early portions didn't feel that slow and set things up nicely. The parts I was looking forward to was done well, so I'm pretty happy.

It was a good movie, and there were definitely interesting parts to it from the bits they added through the Silmarillion and the other notes they took from the Tolkien estate. It just left me feeling a little bit disappointed for some reason, maybe the forced confrontation between some of the characters and Bilbo. Though I did love the Goblin King though.

They are going to make two more arn't they? The book needs three movies.
When they all six get on blu-ray I buy them all and watch them in order in a dawn.
