The Motivational Song Thread
0
Music is easily one of the things that can motivate you or give you the drive to do something. Either in sports, doing something in general or even getting through a tough day.
So post or introduce any songs that have provided motivation for you in the past or have a motivational quality to them.
I'll start off with the No.1 Motivational Song of all time, and probably one of the most famous songs of all time, the cliche hit classic "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor.

Song always gets me eager to work out or fight.
Back when I started my first construction job, I'd hear this song on the radio everyday to work. It always got me pumped up to deal with the hard labor that I was required to do.

I think this should be in IB or CTFG.But isn't this about music in general?
As one of the mods said if it becomes more of a post a song thread instead of a discussion about music then it belongs in IB. To me this looks like post a song thread, but I might be wrong.

So far, there seems to be enough discussion to earn its stay in the Music forums.
OT: I would have to go with folk metal. I've recently been playing Skyrim, so that kicked my folk metal interest. However, I like listening to this song to get ready to work and/or play Skyrim.

This is the first song on the playlist I made on my ipod for the one time a month i go running. Nothing like some ridiculous power metal to help you ignore how badly out of shape you are.
