Got any?

I'm Cockroach-phobia, whatever you call the fear of roaches. I can't look straight at a close-up of anything roach-related. *shudders*

TIL, when there's a presence of a cockroach nearby up until i'm sure the cockroach is gone, my sense of hearing and touch suddenly enhance to the point I can hear and feel tiny movements EVERYWHERE.

Downside? I can't sleep, especially when I wake up to cockroaches running across my body when I sleep.

I'm in the same boat as you bro. Fucking roaches man. I seriously can not look at them, or even be near them. Even if it's on TV or a picture on the internet. I just freak out if I look at them for too long. They're just so disgusting. I only get them in my house during the summer time, which is fucking hell. I will not go into a room for a few days if I have seen a roach in it. Even if it was killed. I just can't man. Which is bad because the AC in my house is broken so I have to sleep downstairs, because my room turns into a fucking oven in summer and downstairs is like a gold mine for roaches. I'm sure I see one at least once every week.
I think I'm the same when it comes to the enhanced senses too, plus I get five times more jumpy, and I always feel like something it touching me feet. It fucking sucks.

Positive side? Bitch, there is no positive side! Just fuck everything. I'd rather have a fear of chickens, than a fear of roaches.

I don't like people coming near me with thing that look even remotely sharp. Reflexes increase a bit when around sharp things

I have a phobia of fish. No positive sides whatsoever I guess.

Wow, me too. I thought no one else shared my weird phobia. Everyone likes to make fun of me for having it, since "fish are harmless"! This phobia extends further to include pretty much all sea creatures, minus dolphins and sea horses along with a few others. Worse then fish, however, are things like squid and octopus which I find horrifying. I'm also afraid of swimming too far out into the ocean, since to me... the absolute worst way to die would be by drowning. So, I guess large bodies of water and I don't exactly mix. I'm also scared whenever it starts raining too hard when I'm driving.

I'm hemophobic, so I don't have to do anything with blood due to all the trouble I would cause. It also managed to get me out of health class a few times when I was in school.

i have a fear of getting angry, it sounds weird but true, the good thing no provocation can affect me, the bad thing everything

I have a fear of heights, but only when I'm not fastened to something (like on roller coasters or at rock climbing courses).

I don't think I get any advantages.

Positive of being afraid of the dark, I can't see the monsters, but they can't either, that's what Splinter Cell: Conviction taught me :P

Well, I'm also afraid of most of sea creatures including octopus and squid. Everyone actually laughed when they heard I have a phobia of fish, BUT, once they actually saw my reaction when I saw a fish, they finally took it seriously.

Basically I absolutely agree with the bold part of your post.

Once a week? LET ME LIVE WITH YOU.

I see cockroaches here at least once almost everyday, inside AND outside

Aviophobia born of acrophobia.

Took a trip with my mother to the Philippines to visit family when I was 17. That was my first time on a plane, and the thought of being thousands of feet in the air for 12+ hours terrified me. I was trembling in my seat until the layover in Honolulu, with fits of turbulence in between which worsened my anxiety. I calmed down a bit after we took off from Honolulu, but still shook like a leaf when there was turbulence.

The following year I got over my fear of flying when we took a trip to Germany, no trembling or bouts of anxiety.
I still have a fear of heights in general, however. No good thing has come of it unless one counts my getting over aviophobia.

Scared of snake

I'm super afraid of swimming pools. Yes. Swimming pools.
I have NO idea why, i'm not even afraid of drowning. I have nightmares about being alone in a pool.
I can go swimmin if there is tons of people around and my friends. Alone, i will freak the fuck and trip out.
we used to have a swimming pool in our backyard at an old house, and I didn't even want to go in the backyard.
I don't know the positive side to this...

That reminds me of an episode from "Are you afraid of the dark?".
It was this episode where some invisible humanoid thing was stalking the school pool.

Like all of my siblings I'm fucking scared of being similar to my father. He has a narcissistic personality disorder and not to be disrespectful, but he's an ass. And because of that all of his children are living in the fear of being like him.

I actually realized this like 10 minutes ago while I was in shower, but he's the reason why I'm so nice to people. So the positive side of my fear is that I'm nicer to people. But the negative side of the positive side is that I'm sometimes too nice to people who dont deserve it.

Claustrophobic. I can't be in really tight spaces for too long.

I don't know the term for it but I don't like having my face covered such as being under the covers when I'm asleep or when I'm putting a jacket on over my head.

I am extremely scared of Butterflies, yes butterflies. I can't stand being close to one or seeing one close to me.
Positive side is my wife hugs me tightly like I do with her when she is scared of something.
