This is the worst spiderman tv series yet. Second to spiderman unlimited. No it's not, it's the second best.
Haven't seen the 80's or before that, so i can't rank them...
1. Spider-man
2. Spectacular Spider-man
3rd and 4th. Unlimited and The New Animated Series *both were so bad, I don't know which to rank 3rd and 4th*

I can only agree with you about Spiderman being #1. That's it!

I'm still having to catch up on some episodes I missed, but I'm actually enjoying this series.I loved the 90's Spider-Man animated series the most though, Spectacular Spider-Man would be in my number 2 slot also.

I love Spectacular. In my opinion, it is the best Spider-Man cartoon. The 90s series was good when I was young, but it's filled with a ton of stupid censoring and repeat scenes. I don't see how anyone over the age of fifteen can enjoy that show.
Anyways, I wonder when the second season is going to start. And what channel it's going to come on. The CW hasn't aired the show in months, but recently, Disney XD has been airing the first season. I wonder if season two will premiere on XD.

Waiting for the third season, hopefully it'll be commissioned.

Well, I finished season two yesterday, and I was blown away. It was fantastic.
The second season had a ton of action, and there wasn't any "get to know the characters" phase like there was with the first season, which made things go very smoothly. There better be a third season, and I better know about it when it comes out. I guess maybe I start checking out /co/ again.
Major spoiler for season two:

What spider-man are we exactly talking about here again? I hope this isn't the 3D/CGI one... or I might have to agree with geassmon.
Wait, I'm checking out its first episode on youtube, streaming. I really can't say that I'm impressed, esp with those web in the armpits as part of his costume. God, is there really a need for that?! It's only making him seem to look like a breed between a spider and a flying squirrel.
Anyway, if I never post in here again, that means I didn't quite like it. And Spider-man, the one that run for a total of 5 seasons (I think), is the best (period). :D

Yeah, it's supposed to be like the classic Lee & Ditko Spider-Man.
Also, if anybody's worried (as if), the creators of the show are big fans of the original Spider-Man comics and know their stuff.

Well I'm a person expressing my thoughts and opinions on this show (since that is what this topic is about).

Obviously, I wasn't quite aware of the "original" but seriously, that being part of his costume is no big deal to me. That's just my style of commenting (no offense intended of course) cause that's what we/I do, I WATCH, and when I do, I SEE things that I either like or dislike, consider funny or unfunny and whatsoever. Having said "that" means that I didn't quite like it (to be very honest) but it's not like I can't bear with it. I'm not too shallow in terms of details, that I would choose to miss an awesome series just because of one particular eyesore or two.
And thanks for the promotional video tsujoi. That's just the push I needed! :D (I'd certainly be watching this now!)

Really, I don't like the webbing in the armpits either, but thankfully, nobody gives any attention to it in the show. I think the creators just wanted to put it there as a sort of shout-out to fans of the original Spider-Man.
