The Thread of CSI

CSI and NCIS are 2 different things, you can't just lump them together. They're not even created by the same creator.

They can't be compared, since they have different field of expertise.

Caught an episode of the original the other day. Looks like it's on its last legs. I haven't watched Miami or NY in years so I can't comment.

When it first came out though, very good show.
