Ladies and Gents for your and my pleasure I would like to see our creativity focus around a main setting and in a common form. The setting: Zombie Apocalypse Form of writing: Journal Entries Guidelines: Characters must be based on your actual abilities. That means no superhuman strength, no magical abilities, etc. Items must actually be present in the locations you travel. That means you can't find things like an Uzi in your bathroom or behind a dumpster. Names: can be real or fictitious. However, don't use names like Captain Hindgrinder. You must start your entries based on how you actually live day to day before you throw your character into the fray with zombies. Zombies must be human and can vary in movement based on size, strength, and level of decay and are for the most part un-intelegent. For example a freshly dead zombie can run quickly, is stronger, is able to see, and hear better than a very rotten zombie which can be unable to move quickly, may be weaker, may not be able to see, or hear as well all depending on the build of the corpse. Zombies are all regular corpses, no special zombies like in resident evil or left for dead (sorry game fans). Finally, the only way to kill or incapacitate a zombie is to destroy the brain, remove the head, or sever the spinal cord. Infection is spread through bites, and blood to blood contact with the infected through scratches and wounds. Begin the entry with the date (unless your character loses track of the days weeks and months) Interactions with other fakku member posts must co-encide with what the previous user posted. That means you must base others actions on what has been posted. Have fun. July 13 2010 Today started normal enough, my first memory this morning was saying "fuck that wasn't the snooze button" to which my girlfriend and I sprang to action. After the rush of pulling my things together for work I found my girlfriend putting the final touches on our lunches. I dropped her off at the bus stop so she wouldn't be late and gave her a kiss goodbye, told her I love her, and rushed off to work. Got to work in good time walking through the door five minutes early, although as always I was the last to show up. After lunch I got back to work. As I threw the last box of nails on to the skid I heard a loud "what the hell" across the warehouse over by Brian's office, and as I started walking to find out what was going on that is when I heard the gurgled screams of my co-worker having his throat ripped out from some deranged man. He was still trying to scream when I got there with the man hunched over him. With all of my strength I kicked the bastard in the ribs and off of my now dead co-worker sending the guy under Brian's desk and grabbed the framing hammer next to the other tools hanging on the wall. I didn't know what I was going to do with it but I had hoped the threat would be real enough to the guy when he got up. I was wrong. The bastard got up looked at me for a moment then charged me, and I had no choice but to bury the bladed end into the guys skull. I don't know if it was the adrenaline or the angle but his skull gave way easier than I thought, and I stood there frozen as I watch his body fall away the hammer still in his skull realizing what I had just done. Within a matter of seconds that felt like minutes my boss Sandi was shaking my shoulder trying to snap me out of what just happened. From what I remember, he had told me he saw the last bit of what happened and asked me "what the hell happened?". I couldn't talk as shaken as I was, and all I could do was point over to Brian who laying there, his throat ripped open. Before I could even think to react Brian's eyes opened and he started to get up, and Sandi moved to help him. However, whatever possessed the other man now had it's grips on Brian and he grabbed Sandi and threw him to the ground. Sandi started screaming "Victor, get him off me" as he forced Brian back. Acting quickly I ripped the hammer out of the one guys head and buried it into the back of Brian's head. Sandi shoved him off, stood up, and closed the big open door at the front of the building locking all of the other doors as he went. He walked back to me after making a quick scan to see who else was around and said "now tell me, what the hell happened?". Just getting over the shock all I could say was "this is like some fucking horror movie" my voice distant to his ears. He walked past me and over the man who had turned our day to hell turning on the radio sitting on Brian's desk. Just like a horror movie the sounds of the radios station came crackling to clarity and there it was, the last radio transmission I think I will ever here. "I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY IN YOUR HOMES, THERE ARE REPORTS OF RIOTING AND ---" then the radio station went quiet, I just started to snap out of my paralysis when I heard "OH GOD NO! AHHH-" and then the final silence that followed it. I looked at Sandi and he looked at me believing what we just heard, then down to the corpses at our feet in mute silence. It didn't take us long to realize what was happening, as impossible as it seemed it was happening and it was not long before Sandi left me there in his haste to get home to his kids. I locked the door behind him and collapsed in a nearby chair and thought about every Zombie movie I had ever seen, a question hanging in my mind "what do I do?". Like a shot it came to me, "armor... and weapons" and I ran out to the warehouse. Before long I cut out a very crude template for a chest-piece, wrist and shin guards, and a gorget using the cardboard boxes from the product in the racks using my box knife. I knew my next task was to find something strong enough to be impossible to bite through but light enough to run in, so I used a roll of the PVC foundation membrane and cut out a few sheets with the template. Some wire, some glue and a little time later I was decked out in armor that looked like it belonged in road warrior in addition to the dust mask and safety glasses I now had on. The weapons came easy using a bundle of inch thick doweling to make pointed sticks and taking the now trusty hammer out of my ex-co-workers head giving it a quick clean in the sink before leaving with my backpack filled with a few things I knew I would need. As I got into my car I knew I wouldn't get far but it beat being totally exposed, all I knew was I needed to get home and find my girlfriend May. As I expected I didn't get far before I found the roads were clogged with empty cars hither and yon and I had to make the choice to get out of my car. From my watch said 4 pm and I knew I had to make it home by sun down. As I skinned out of my car and into someones back yard two things crossed my mind, first of which was "did anything see me?", and "can I make it 7 blocks in less than 5 hours?". The journey was slow going and in exception to hearing the odd scream in the distance I was feeling relatively unafraid, that was however, till I had to cross the 4 lain highway a block away from my house. Although I didn't see many of them there were about 5 Zombies that I could see in the fading sunlight, all standing along the road between the empty cars, luckily none of which saw me from my spot behind the bushes. I sat and thought about the way to cross fighting the urge to just run and see if I could make it, and finally I resolved myself to trying to sneak my way through. I kept low hiding my body behind the cars I managed to weave myself around the cars silently in exception to one where my armor grazed the back bumper of the car making an audible screeching sound. I stopped, my heart thudding and a cold sweat where the only sensations I could feel as I listened carefully for the sound of shuffling feet. I stood there crouched a moment longer and figured they hadn't heard me and moved on. Finally I made it home just as the sun made it's final retreat behind the mountains and slipped into my house via the back door. As soon as I got in the blinds were closed, and I scanned the house for any life or lack there of, it was as I did so that my room mate Derrick came out of his room wooden mallet in hand. "Have you seen May?" Was the first thing I said to him which he told me he'd not seen her, and asked me if I knew what was going on. I grabbed a cup of water filling the sinks, tub, and anything that could hold water in the house then had a deep drink of water as I told him what had happened, and that it is now to late to go out and find May, but to get ready for tomorrow for what we had to do. I finally have the chance to sit down, write about what is going on. I fear that my May is not alive. I am on first watch for the night, I know we have enough food and water to last us the month if we ration it, I know I have no way to contact May, and I know what I have to do next.

Just do like all us did and imagine is a Metroid Prime/Echoes visor and it can see whatever as long as it is moving. Otherwise, this video will just suck.
