Twilight: Breaking Dawn Pt.1

I actually liked the first three books. I always tell people, you just have to accept it for what it is (a romance novel w/o the sex & some fantasy thrown in) instead of trying to hold it in comparison to actual good writing.
I like all the characters except for Edward and Bella....they're kind of psychologically fucked up and generally irritating, lol >.>;
But like someone else said, the 4th book with the whole sex thing and the pregnancy...kind of bombed what was only a mediocre series. I'd like to know what random drugs Meyer was doing when she decided on that psychedelic ending bow.
The movie was ok, but a little irritating, b/c there definitely wasn't enough meat in the last book for two movies, so for me it just dragged on and on. And seeing Bella go from looking anorexic to Skelatoric was just as irritating.
Also, lol @ the random styrofoam cup lying around the house of Vampires that don't eat.

Jacob with his shirt off was nice tho ❤

I have never read the books.
Personally i dont like reading books.
The only books i have EVER read and enjoyed were the "Series Of Unfortunate Events"
Those where the only ones it got into, but as for Twilight i have just watched the movies! :)

When you think about it, the fourth book is basically fan-fiction. Book three was supposed to be the ending of the series, but fans begged Meyer for another so this was made. Thats right, you can blame the fans ENTIRELY for this ending.
Book 3 just seemed like a more logical ending point to me.
I've always found the movies to be hysterical, best comedies of the year, great fun to watch (though only with others who are in on the joke, god help you if your with people who take the whole thing seriously) but this fourth one was missing that. Maybe it was because it was dealing with issues a little beyond its credibility, like abortion.
I wonder just what they are going to do for part 2 given they have already covered all the stuff I know about from the book...
PS. The fact that its in two parts is one of the most disgusting movie stradegies I have ever seen. Not only is it not fair to fans who have to wait inbetween two parts of a movie they could have finished in one, but it may start a trend of splitting movies for more revenue...

WHY TWILIGHT SUCKS:
1. Bella is a perfect character (“Mary Sue”), which Meyer hides by calling her clumsy. Meyer is living out her own fantasies by writing about Bella, who is clearly herself.
2. She can’t do anything without Edward.
3. And when he leaves she attempts to commit suicide.
4. The books aren’t well written.
5. All the rules Meyer sets for being a vampire are broken by the end of the series.
6. Edward is too perfect and has no flaws either. Even vampires should have flaws besides wanting to suck human blood because it’s natural to them.
7. If Bella is so †˜plain’, why do so many guys fall for her within the first two chapters?
8. Bella teaches women to let the man handle everything, which pretty much is a huge step backward for women everywhere, who have fought for equality.
9. Isn’t it convenient that her father always leaves her alone and doesn’t question her? Real parents aren’t that way.
10. Lack of character development.
11. Edward is extremely possessive, border-line abusive, and boring as anything.
12. It’s too cliché.
13. You don’t have to describe the character every two pages, we know all about Edward’s †˜perfectly toned chest’ the fourth time she mentions it.
14. Bella reflects upon herself through the entire novel to tell important plot developments. Hey Meyer, ever heard of “Show, don’t tell”?
15. Vampires can’t get people pregnant.
16. Stephanie Meyer creates some interesting characters ie: Jasper and Alice. She then ignores them, and gives them no development.
17. There’s far too little actual conflict in the story. But this probably stems from having a flawless main character.
18. They only love each other because she smells good and he’s hot. There’s no other given reason why.
19. It’s just not healthy to teach young girls that True Love involves the guy watching you while you sleep.
20. Bella has no goals and no future, her life revolves around Edward. It’s a co-dependent relationship stripped down to the bare essentials. Girl: “I can’t live without you. I want to change myself to be with you.” Boy: “If you leave me, I will kill myself.”
21. Bella’s only deep thoughts are, †˜Edward is so perfect. I love him.’
22. Jacob, who didn’t abuse Bella and was nice to her, was dumped and she chose Edward. Hmm, masochistic much?
"But when a saga popular with pre-adolescent girls peaks romantically on a night that leaves the heroine to wake up covered with bruises in the shape of her husband’s hands — and when that heroine then spends the morning explaining to her husband that she’s incredibly happy even though he injured her, and that it’s not his fault because she understands he couldn’t help it in light of the depth of his passion — that’s profoundly irresponsible."

I went and saw it thinking it was going to be horrible, and it was. I don't know why the actors are so bad since they are all are good in other movies. And they needed more explanation of what is happening, especially in the end. You can go see it and get a few laughs because of all the bad acting, if you go with some friends.

Forgot my safe word
Yes, it's about time that we stake all sparkling vampires, and put silver bullets to all shirtless were-puppies! I can't stand the over sympathetic characterization of supposedly gothic horror icons.
