She's quite the piano-player, a decent songwriter and one hell of a showartist.

Ok, sure. There are some Sir Lady Gaga fans out there that can actually stand looking at him her and listening to its her music.

She's a decent pianist. I hate her music, but she's a decent pianist. And if they let her, what's the problem? She's not exactly trying to ride on Lennon's coattails, she doesn't need to. She clearly just wanted to play on an awesome piano.

I dont feel a need to rage over this because I dont care about John Lennons 'legend' and I dont like 'Lady' Gagas music.

If it was her music they complained about it would be a different matter, but people rage about her doing stuff. 80-90% of all coments about Lady GaGa doesn't even mention anything that has to do with her music. Do you think it would be any different if we found out that she was playing Chopin's 40th Opus instead of one of her own songs?

Well, to me at least, It's a given. If someone hates on Gaga, there's a good 60/40 chance of them hating her music.
I, personally, don't like her music, I don't like her fanbase, and I don't like her.
And concerning the last statement, if she were to do a cover of a classical song, then I'm pretty sure that fanbase would hate on her because she'd somehow find a way to "modernize" it and make it a Billboard Top 100 song, which I would like to think that the original composer wouldn never want that to happen.
