Unsure To Purchase GK Figure

So I normally avoid Ebay like the plague in terms of figure shopping due to fakes, overpriced figures, etc, but recently I've been wanting to buy this certain figure that is GK only. I've found one custom artist painted on ebay but it looks kind of meh. It has the main parts painted down and looks alright but still lacks certain details that I've seen from another site that sold their own set of custom painted, which were still not as detailed as the original demo it seems. Money for the current one on ebay seems okay but for not having full details idk, and if I don't get it, all there is is just buying a GK set which I lack the skill to get done. I don't know much about painting figure services as a good option either.

Would like some advice on this conundrum of mine as I'm doing this shopping for a Birthday gift to myself as just got the cash for it.
